joey isch, any woodie that DOESN'T give you bruises after 35(!) laps wasn't worth riding in the first place. I mean, c'mon, 35 laps is a riding marathon on a woodie....

The only down fall of this coaster is its price. Yeah, there are some more expensive, but this one seemed a bit pricey for only one short ride.

The first helix was a little to jolting for my personal liking, but the finale helix was not to jolting, yet not to slow to be fun.

I'm sure you could easily ride Lightnig Racer 50 times and never get so much as a hangnail. Yet its one of the most fun coasters I've ever ridden.

There was air on the second hill, floating into the first helice, & jolts of air at the helice top in the middle of the first one! I was sitting in the second row, was popped out of my seat during the helice, great fun. Night rides in the front are nice. There is some whipping action, but I enjoy it, it's never been too excessive, IMO. I think the red train is actually smoother.......
The future is what bothers me. The ride will be getting rougher, they will stop taking care of it. I've seen some shady practices go down at the Pavilion, lol! The Wild Mouse there has crazy loose lapbars, it's truely scary. When dealing with the Pavilion, you can see that they really don't care about any complaints or concerns you may have, they give out gift bags, apologize, and act like nobody's in charge. It's a weird place.
Really, I guess hitting the Hurricane on a day when it's recently had maintenance, and there's no roped-off seats, it's all good. But when it's not a holiday weekend or peak season weekends, they let her go.........
