Marriage proposal at SFWoA or CP?

If I were to propose to my girlfriend at either SFWoA or CP, where would be a good place.

Any ideas?

(joe: what is happening to me?)

Planned Parks for this summer: CP, SFWoA, SFGAm, SFKK, PKI, MA, SFStL, HP, KW, SFMM, KBF. Is 11 enough?

How about that bridge between the rides part and the wildlife part at SFWoA?

Is it the roar of Kumba or the kumba of Roar? Discuss!

the Giant Wheel at CP Has such a magnificent view in its new location all the way up the shoreline.  You can see every town all the way to Chicago at night. That wuould be a great place, although the quiet of it all will be shattered this year so that might not work

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

How about on the lift of Millennium Force? right before you take the plunge (pun intended)

"Well, I wouldn't say I've been MISSING it, Bob."

Actually if I was going to propose in a park it'd be on the beach at Cedar Point

I don't know about location, but I'll offer you this advice:  you better make sure she likes coasters/amusement parks as much as you do.  The proposal is all about the woman...

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."
Take a walk on the beach along Maggie.  When you get to that nice little secluded area with the tennis courts, and the turnaround, and the foutain, do it there.

The beach at Cedar Point, somewhere behind Soak City. In fact, near Bubbles bar would be a good place to celebrate if she says yes, or get snookered if she says no. ;)

Funny you should ask this question.  :)  Check out this TR.  http://club.coasterbuzz.com/forums/thread.asp?ForumID=13&TopicID=9448  BTW, it went off without a problem in the world and that day was the absolute best day I've ever been to CP.

The gazebo near Sandcastle Suites.  Maggie running nearby but still a quiet, peaceful spot...particular during the afternoon.

Jeff took my answer...you can't beat the beach at CP!

I have to wonder sometimes if my posts ever get read.  I'm kind of curious to see if my computer isn't working right or what the deal is.

Chalk another one up for the beach. I think the best place to propose is a beach (more specifically, Myrtle Beach) but I guess this is the next best thing.

Coasterbuzz Ruined My Life!
This is a very interesting thread for me not only for the fact that my girlfriend and I got engaged at CP but we are wanting to get married in that area as well.  We are looking for really good advise from people that frequent the park and know the out-of-the-way spots that are in the park.  We're not having the "lavish" wedding, just us and a preacher I guess.  (of course all you fellow buzzers are invited to watch the spectacle naturally)  I'm thinking somewhere picturesque as well as out-of-the-way.

If she likes coasters ALOT, then do it on the lift on Millineum Force. Not right before you go over, because you want to give her time to answer (and kiss you or slap you depending on the answer). If she doesn't like rollercoaster ALOT, then I would say the beach at CP.

167 coasters and hopes to be over 200 by the end of 2002 :)

hey Valleyfair Fan...your butt isn't as pleasant to kiss evidently... ;)

wife and I took our honeymoon at CP...was absolutely awesome.  stayed at the Breakers(the original section) and had a wonderful view of the lake and beach.  take her for a nice walk along the beach...don't comment on the comparison of her curves and the ones on WT, big no no there....

good luck to ya
