Make people appreciate the site more...

Somehow, make Coasterbuzz unavailable for a week or so, and then bring up the question "Would you pay $10 a year for the site?" See if their views change.:)

My viewpoint wouldn't change! I appreciate the site, but in America it is a society of free speech. The fact that . criticisms arise is part of an open dialog. NO, I wouldn't pay for it. As with a lot of things in life, when it ends you move on to something bigger and better or something else more important.

Accually, if anyone has to resort to that, I'd stay away. Most people (myself inclueded) would think that it probably means they are about to go belly up, if they are basically begging for money.

Fyi, my motivation for suggesting this was when I couldn't access your site. Maybe you were updating/publishing it. Sad as it may be, I was frustrated at the thought of not being able to get my fix.

Sorry, but this web site is not my life, nor do I think it is all that matters to anyone else.  If it went down for good because Jeff could no longer afford it, oh well.  I love the site and the forums, but I will go on without it.  I was a huge fan of Thrill Ride, but, believe it or not, life has gone on since it bit the dust.

I'd gladly pay. If it means my the best coaster site stays online for many years, yeah. Charge me 10 bucks. Great site Jeff.

And to get rid of those darn pop-ups;)
