Kennywood has such a different atmosphere and excellent wooden coaster lineup that I can't agree that Cedar Point ruins me for it.
I think I like KW better than CP. I guess it ruins CP for me. ;)
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I agree with Andy - KW ruins most other parks for me...just not the other PA parks... :)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

^Actually the first half of Sky Rocket is pretty good. I think if they didn't completely stop the train at the mcbr, the second half wouldn't be half bad either.
Sky Rocket does not stop mid-course. Couldn't if we wanted to. It's not a mcbr. Just a fixed trim. Sounds like you're relying on the video of the ride pre-opening when it crawled over there.
Hi
Maybe they should break the trim and make it go faster ;).

Nah, I actually rode it. Well maybe it doesn't come to a complete stop....more like a Sheikra crawl.
It does look good. Hopefully the ride will actually get up to the red section. :-)

Nice visual improvement from that industrial boring look it had before.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
Superman Escape from Krypton is now doing test runs with the new vehicles.
The cars now reach the very top!

(Annoying tour guide voice) Superman: Escape From Krypton is located at Magic Mountain amusement park in Valencia California. It is known as one of the tallest and fastest coasters in the world. It is a very fun ride to enjoy...when it is -open. (make an ugly face and spit when you say the word "open") :)

^Hey it was a good ride when I rode it a few times in 1999! It was October, no lines, beautiful cool night at the Mountain.
I dunno bout the new backwards thing though - why not leave one forwards!
I'll be the first one at MM when they let Revolution roll as it was meant to, naysayers (including park engineers and past part presidents, VPs, etc.) I do believe that ride will roll free someday ;)
I don't want to take the wind out of anyone's sails with regard to this upgrade - but the Dreamworld car reaches the top of the tower during early morning test runs but as soon as people are loaded the cars only reach 2/3 of the way up the tower. So take that for what it is.
Hitting those emergency brakes (that slow the vehicle from 90mph+ to a stand still in less than 100ft) can't be fun while riding forwards). That has been pointed to as a reason for this occurring...
Also, Screamscape reported about clearance issues with the new cars. Dreamworld had the same issue and had to install fabric on the further most seats on the first three rows.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

I heard somewhere that they were going to run both sides backwards for a period of time, and then change one side to forward after the hype is gone.
