Interesting, might have to make my first trip to California!
One strange note though. Is it me, or the concept art, but, doesn't Deja Vu look like it crosses over each other in an X pattern layout rather than a traditional V pattern of an invertigo? I mean the station house almost looks as if it's situated 'underneath' the loop structure. Kinda freaky if you ask me.
Also of note is how do they get you to the top of those spires? Is there a cable lift (and God I hope not, I hate hanging downward for a prolonged period of time in that position....can you say 'harness failure nightmares'?) or are the trains launched up the spires?
And X, what of X. I'm sorry, but, a face down freefall is kind of duplicating Deja Vu, isn't it? Why couldn't the first 200 foot drop be in the 'freefall' position of sitting straight forward? I think that would be much more exciting, and would be a combo coaster/ traditional freefall ride. (something, and correct me if I'm wrong, SFMM doesn't have {and I'm not counting Superman}).
Lastly, people get on Paramount for taking the prototype road too much. Let's wait and see how much trouble Six Flags has with their crop this year before the criticisms really kick in. (and I'm not saying anyone did that in this thread, it's just that I am tired of the whole 'prototype argument'.)
(Now c'mon PKI, get off yer duff, and announce were getting a 250 foot B&M hyper in 2002 after the Arrowbatic in 2001. ....sorry, my mind's drifting to closer pastures......)
