Loud Coasters

Yeah, Superman: The Escape has to be the loudest "coaster" on the planet!  I hate walking under that damn thing when one of those cars goes screaming up that tower.  It definitely does sound like you are standing directly behind a jet taking off!
There has to be a lack of oil in France cause Tonnere De Zeus screeches around the helixes-chronically. It really adds to the ride though IMO.
Wait in the V2 station at SFGAm, as the train goes by, you can scream and still not be heard.
The Brakes on the WestCoaster @ the Santa Monica Pier is loud. When it hits the brakes you have to hold your ears!

Ricochet: Bouncing to you in 2002, Only at King's Dominion!
You can hear Loch Ness Monster's lift hill all the way from Alpengeist's line. It's really loud when you're on it. Maybe that's why they don't run 3 trains much....

What in the shibbidy dibby hoo??
I thought the Jokers Jinx was really loud. It didn't seem that loud when riding it, but when you walk by you can't even talk to someone.
The Legend while it barrels through the first tunnel and when it slams to a stop at the station house is pretty loud and also, the chain lift to Son of Beast get my vote.
S:ROS at SFNE was surprisingly loud. Iron Wolf I think was as loud if not louder than B:TR. The American Eagle at SFGAm also used to have the loudest most piercing screech when in the helix. I like the sound of B&M's though and the sound of Arrow chain lifts, nice clackety-clack. The loudest sound I ever heard though was the sound of a bolt snapping while they were building B:TR at SFGAm. Loudest thing in the world, huge explosion sound.

Loudest coaster I ever heard was BTR at SFGRadv.  It goes right by the queue and when it goes by the sound is just defaning.

I agree with that one, the sound really is deafening, even in line for Nitro which is right behind it.  Not only does that track "roar", but the steel structure vibrates and clatters.  Medusa is also pretty loud, remember to pause your conversation while waiting in line as the train flies into the zero-G roll!

There are a couple of very loud coasters that come to mind.  First of all, Superman: The Escape at Magic Mountain has to be the loudest ride I've ever heard.  It literally makes me jump everytime it goes by when I'm walking nearby.  Also....although most people don't realize it Disaster Transport at Cedar Point is extremely loud.  The building absorbs most of the noise, however if you stand inside the open part of the building (not accessible by GP) it is deafening.   This is also part of the reason Avalanche Run was turned into Disaster Transport.  It is rumored that the ride kept Mrs. Kinzel (CEO's wife) awake at night.   Their house is on point on the far side of the parking lot.  They supposedly determined that covering it would greatly reduce the noise level.
Batman the Ride at Great Adventure is very loud, you can hear it from far away, like near the fountain. I also think Superman the Escape is loud at Magic Mountain. Yup you can hear it from anywhere in the park
Nitro.  when you go on the Coaster Celebration backstage tour, you are literally 2 feet from the track.  When that train comes roaring by at the bottom of the first drop at 80 mph, it's pretty friggin loud!  Imagine B:TR, only amplify the sound by 100.

If you see me running, try and keep up!

Many have already commented on how loud Batman: The Ride is at Six Flags Great Adventure. But, I think Batman & Robin: The Chiller, the Premier Rides Dueling Launched coaster, is much louder. Nearby conversations being had by park guests come to a stop until the train passes by.

I'm surprised no one has said the Millennium Force. Even though it it silent throughout the speedy course of the ride, the magnetic brakes make up for that. Trust me, it's not fun standing in line for 1!/2s listening to those things every minute or so.

Batman the ride's waiting line is LOUD as hell! But I have to say the Batman and Robin: Chiller was loud and scary!! The first time I rode it, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go! You can hear it in the parking lot!

Mantis at Cedar Point. I worked the souvenir cart at the bottom of the loop the year it opened ('96 - the cart isn't there anymore), and I couldn't hear anything anyone asked me whenever the train was going by. Of course, guests must have thought I had super hearing because they'd keep talking anyway and have to end up repeating themselves, but oh well. Don't try to hold a conversation in the line, either. I think it's great how the coaster twists all about the queues, but talking is about impossible.

The SOB is the loudest coaster I have ever been on. The lift is so loud, you can hear it from the parking lot. They have toned it down a little this year however.
Boulder Dash by far. When your on all you hear is the rattling of the track.
How about in the station of the Revolution at MM.  It's so loud the ride ops wear (at least used to) ear plugs.
First of all the loudest ride is B&R the Chiller @ SFGAd but now Robin is actually pretty quiet with the new lap bars. Another thing is someone said Jokers Jinx but that ride is pretty quiet for a premier.
