Loud Coasters

What do you think is the loudest coaster that you ever heard? have you ever listened to a coaster when you weren't paying attention and the noise scared you?

Loudest coaster I ever heard was BTR at SFGRadv.  It goes right by the queue and when it goes by the sound is just defaning.

Raptor's chain lift is very loud.

I think the Boss is kinda loud when it goes through the helix (which is next to the queue). It also goes pretty fast through that helix!

B&M+SFGAm=3 excellent coasters.

Standing right next to the Georgia Scorcher when it come about 3 feet from the path before crossing through the loop.  It's SCARY and LOUD!

Raging Bull has a pretty loud chain lift.  I had to stop a conversation while a train went by while I was waiting on the stairs with my friends.

Son of Beast chain lift.  You can hear it from the parking lot, and when on the ride, where eardrums.

Wear earplugs, I meant.

Superman: The Escape, (although lets not argue whether or not this is a coaster or not... let just say loud ride :-P) and X are very loud! (Both from the same park too :-P)

I would have to say that Son of Beast is extremely loud. Everytime the train gets to the top of the lift....... there is a loud, screeching and rumbling sound that occurs for about 3 seconds. It is the loudest sound I have ever heard out of a ride. Even if a person is half the park away..... the coaster can still be heard when it reaches the top of the lift.

When I was really young the Laser Loop.  Well know it is the Phantoms Revenge lift hill.(Arrow);)  It makes a nice roar when it reaches the bottom of the big drop.

Cobra at SFMW, that thing is LOUD!!! Also S:TE at SFMM, I'm scared to walk under it...so I run. :)

Both the launch and the brakes on H:XLC are quite loud.

BTR at SFGAdv is the loudest coaster by far.

Yes, pumpkinHead the Boss is very loud going through the helix, but I would have to say S:TE is the loudest by far. Sounds like a pair of F-16s' taking off.

Just a couple of G-force junkies!

Basically all B&M's and Intamin's without sand in the rails. B:TR is loud but it all pales in comparison to Riddler's Revenge , Flahsback, V2, and of course S:TE! It is just as loud as standing on an airport runway if not louder SFMM also has a payphone right under it! Go Figure!. Heck I have only seen one side of it running to! I can't belive how loud Flashback is eithier!
