Lose Anything?

Have you ever lost anything while riding a coaster? I lost a park map out of my pocket while riding Medusa at SFMW.

SFEG-*New For 2001* Carnival Of Chaos Batman Stunt Show. Wow.
Some change while riding a Chance Inverter at SFO. I also got off a Chance Zipper last summer and the ride op was asking everyone if they lost some keys. Of course they were mine. Damn Chance inverting rides:) According to Robert Coker from Thrillride in his review of Stealth I shouldn't even ponder taking anything loose on Batwing this summer.

I lost my hat on the Beastie. The Beastie for crying out load!!!

I also dropped my sunglasses through the track in the station of Shivering Timbers. Fortunatly, I was able to get both back.

And I lost an never found my camera that I lost on King Cobra. The leg shield ushed it out of my pocket. I was annoyed! It had behind the scenes picts of SOB construction! *** This post was edited by john peck on 3/20/2001. ***

I lost my wallet and keys to my car while riding B:TR at SFGAM. They found my keys but never did find my wallet. It must have either been found and kept by someone...or lost it to the pond.

I never have, but I was riding the swings at Cedar Point with a friend, and she had a full can of pop in her jacket that came flying out into the midway. It smashed on the ground and spun around fizzing. I just was glad it didn't tag somebody!

I lost my sunglasses on Mantis in the corkscrew, did not get them back. I purchased another pair at a gas station for the rest of my summer coaster vacation, they broke the very next day at Michigan's Adventure. Cheap pieces of (edit)! At least I didn't lose them.

I lost another pair of shades on Ghostrider, but someone in the back of the train actually caught them! No joke! I got those back.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
ive got a good storie.
we were riding the magnum, and i had a poleroid(not sure of spelling)camera.it was secured around my neck for the whole ride, untill i hit one of the returning bunny hops...the camera just flew out from around my neck and hit the ground.the ride opp told me to come back later, and if they found it they would save it for me.the kicker was when i came back later to get my camera,it was smashed all up..but it took a picture just as it hit the ground.all you saw on the picture was a silver support and glass.
I lost my nametag on Shivering Timbers during TimberFest. The tag floated out of the plastic holder.
I have lost two pairs of sunglasses and a throw away camera. Also if you head to KP this summer and ride Aero 360 - tuck everything away - that ride is built to lose things on.

All time Top 5: (1) Millennium Force (2) Alpengeist (3) Hulk (4) Ice Dragon (5) Raptor
Personally haven't lost anything. However, while riding Mean Streak a couple years back, a guy in front of us lost his hat and my husband caught it. Good thing we always have our hands up, never know what you'll get.

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast

My friend lost an open red juice bottle on twister in Knobles and we where in the front seat and all of it came out soaking every one behind us. They where not happy with us.

FEAR THE FOUR
Drachen fire what will happen to it?
I lost my hat on the Big Dipper at SFWoA. I also found a wallet floating right above my lap when I was finishing the third hill of Millennium Force.
I never did but my mom lost her glasses on the wilde beast @ PCW.
I lost my new Orlando Magic hat in 1990 on the second hill of the magnum .Never found it either.

Long live the Phantom!
I lost my hat on the CK Mine Ride at CP, i figured it wouldn't be too fast, so I left it on.

I also lost a hat on the Comet at GE this past summer, but this time I was sitting on it.
My dad rides every coaster with his glasses. regardless of how intense it is. Yet he has never lost his glasses. He doesn't wear a strap or anything. weird

I had a blue marker in my pocket and I rode Son of Beast. When the ride was over, it wasn`t in my pocket or the car and I never saw it leave my pocket!
Sunglasses seem to be at big risk at theme parks. I took special note to always place my sunglasses in my pocket during my Goliath-a-thon last fall. Wouldn't you know it on my last ride I forgot and left them clipped to my shirt. Well, as we descended down the first drop I remembered them. Too late, they were swallowed by the tunnel. AAAH! Those things cost me $45.00!
This is rather disgusting, but a number of years back my brother lost a kleenex on Magnum. While losing a tissue isn't so bad, he had just been mopping up a nosebleed! He lost it right near the cameras so when he went to check his picture, the tissue was suspended right near his head! It was pretty funny to see. I just wish the schmuck would have bought the picture!
Last year he also lost a full pack of cigarettes on Magnum somewhere over Soak City. Can you imagine some child in the kiddie pool running up to their parent with a pack of smokes that had just hit them on the head! Damn, I alsmot burst my insides last year laughing at his bad luck.

I personally have never lost anything, but on the first drop of Raging Bull, a candy bar and a lighter kind of floated out of my dad's shirt pocket and brushed against his beard as he half-heartedly tried to reach out and grab the items in vain.
