Yes, it's a small loop, but they aren't moving quickly either.

The problem is the shape of the loop.

Idle hands were orient to her.

It's a clothoid loop, from the look of it. The shape is right, but it's awfully tight.
anyone have more photos of it?
Hello,

There are a few things most of the people that have replied are forgetting. This was in '82. How many looping coasters were there in the USA at that time? Revolution came out in '76(???). That makes this float construction about 5 years later. Fairly impressive I think, considering it was operational while moving!

Secondly, I was the one that took the photo, and I was quite young at the time. I do remember that the riders were all laughing and had smiles while waving to the crowd and it looked like they were having a blast. It didn't look to me like they thought it was painful.

Also, no one has yet commented that they noticed the small helix in the background.

I sure would like to have ridden it.

I wonder what ever happened to it, or the cars.

Wow.....wow.....wow....I cannot believe this was attempted. Truly the most unique float I have ever seen. That is more like a Hopkins size loop!
