"Welcome back Raptor riders. How was your flight?"
Longest wait this season (not just "so far", as I refuse to do it again ;) ) is 2 hours 15 minutes for Batwing.

"Why you kick my dog?"
about 45 minutes for rocketrods at DL (i was bored)
4 1/2 hrs for Raging Bull on the Memorial Day of the First season it was built. The line was already huge to begin with, and to add to the fun, it broke down! Then they let some empty trains run and everyone got their hopes up, but it started to rain and they closed it due to inclimate weather. When it stopped raining they let it run empty, and then the first train full of people followed fifteen minutes after that. Then they added another train to the operation, and the line started moving. As we neared the station it started pouring again and they shut it down. Finally about ten minutes later it stopped and they let some empty trains run. After nearly 5 hours, we got on the ride, and it was worth every last minute!

BGW and PKD rock!
When I was at the Point in August my Dad and I raced in the running of the bulls for the Force! Lucky for us we ended up in pretty good postition being some of the first to ride, but when we got off we headed towards the back of the park to ride meanstreak, then we were going to hit Gemini and Magnum. The line for the Force at 9:45 which is 15 minutes before the actual opening time for rides was backed up all the way to the Gemini!!! It was amazing how long the people were going to wait! I imagine it would have been around 6 hours!!

These new flying coasters seem to have a lower capacity because it takes people a while to get the restraints on,etc.
I dunno, saviourmachine, I think I'm with you. When you're waiting, time appears to move much slower than it really is - so an hour can seem like an eternity. Myself, I perversely keep an eye on my watch to see exactly how long the lines are (I also try to estimate the wait to see how accurate I can be). I also don't know if the time spent waiting for a ride to open or during breakdowns should factor in to the equation - though I can see why it should. Having said that, the longest I've waited for MF (Saturday, June of opening year) was about 75 minutes; I have seen the queues overflow and am guessing that's about a two hour wait (Rideman?) without breakdowns. As for wait times at CP on midnight closings - every time I've been there those days Gemini has been a near-walk-on, although I hear closing Saturday is a much different story.
My personal longest wait was nearly two hours this past April for FOF at PKD - the new restraints made loading VERY slow.
I think most of you are sad, you can all flame me if you like, but queueing up for 3-6 hrs for a coaster in my view isnt worth it, I dont care if its a new ride or a world first Coaster, I would simply never queue up for anything for that amount of time, in my view, you could easily walk round the park finding lower queues and getting loads more rides on other things than waiting upto 6hrs for just 1 ride that probably lasts upto 3 mins, and basiclly, thats half your day gone nearly, you would simply be wasting your money. My absolute maximum for waiting for any ride is 1 hr 30 mins, but really I like to try and keep it down to just 1hr for anything. I learned this when I queued up for Batman at SFMM, I queued up 1hr 45 mins, the ride was worth it, but queueing up was'nt,It was just way too long for me. Some of you may be able to handle long lines like those I guess, but I really cant see how you can, its so unbearable sometimes. Now I always tend to look for queues which have 1hr maximum. By the way, that batman ride is the longest I have ever queued for too. And I will Never do it again either, Not even for coasters like MF,X etc.
Like I say, you can flame me if you like, but how some of you can queue upto 6hrs for one coaster is beyond me
THE LONGEST I EVER WAITED FOR A RIDE WAS MILLENNIUM FORCE. THE WAIT was only 1 HOUR. I've never waited for a ride over 1 hour.

Longest wait... hmmmm... 3 hours for power tower. I saw someone say that they waited 6 hours for Millennium Force. My longest and shortest wait thus far was only 5 minutes ;)
