Linebreak for edits.

Is it possible to make the forums automatically insert a linebreak before the "**Edited by...**" that it adds when we thoughtfully revise our social discourse?

There's a way, but then I have to recompile!

You can do what I do and just hit return after your signature like this.

[edit- It's not the signature in this version anymore... You don't get the sig. in the text box. Jeff, what's up wit' dat?]

The signature is a separate entity now, rather than part of the post. This saves some DB space (the same text doesn't have to be replicated in every single post), and allows users to say "Don't show me everyone's signatures", making for a leaner page.

Jeff, do you have any idea how many people have actually turned off the sigs?

Surprisingly enough, only three people are using it.
