No one ever waited that long for The Force. If they did, they would be an idiot. For the most part, lines never exceeded two hours, with a few of the peak weekends reaching about three.

That's got to be a rumour, because facts don't spread that fast...
On one of my early trips to Kennywood this year, I got seated with a stranger on Thunderbolt. (You know, ya gotta have a ride partner.) I mentioned to him about my plans to go to Cedar Point, and he, in turn, mentioned the 6 to 7-hour waits for their new ride. He also mentioned he hasn't been there since Corkscrew was new, so it definately wasn't first-hand knowledge.

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
I waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for the Force, on what had to be one of the busiest days of the year. But, they did have all three trains running that day.

Have you ever gotten the feeling that you've been here before? Six Flags Magic Mountain 2001...
about 3 and a half hours for Riddlers Revenge at sfmm, but it was worth the wait.

SFMM #1 3 new coasters next year...
in your face cedar point, 2001 is
our year to shine! ha!
About an hour for Goliath. I guess I can consider myself lucky since that's my longest wait for a rollercoaster
1 hour 30 minutes for Magnum and Millennium Force (The Future is Riding On It)
-------------
Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
about 45 mins for goliath and ghostrider.
4 hours for MF. Worth every minute.
(AAA preview day, Only two trains running)

I'd explain it to you, but your brain would explode.

1 hour and 20 minutes for Raptor, 3 trains
1 hour and 20 minutes for Villain, 1 train
Hmmm...Memorable waits.
2hr:45m for the Magnum (back in 89)
3hr:00 for Millennium Force (due to breakdowns & weather)
1hr:45m for Batman:TR (what was worse is the wait would have been longer due to the ride being down)
1hr:45m for Raptor
1hr:15m for Mr. Freeze
When I was at cedar point, a Ride op told me that on Millenium Force's opening day, the line for MF was from MF all the way to the front of the park! That's and 8 hour line!

3-Kraken
4-Dueling Dragons
Longest ever, was about 3 hours to ride Millenium Force; however, we went there when the park opened, so the ride wasn't running for the first hour we were waiting. Usually I won't more than an hour or so for a ride (I love coasters. But there's too much to see and do in parks to waste time standing in line) but I wanted to ride MF very badly.
The Force has never had an eight hour line, and anyone who would be stupid enough to stand in a line that long deserves to be called naughty words.

LOL Jeff. My longest wait is 1 hr. 45 mins. for Batman at night. Worth every minute and I had fun waiting in the line because the people behind us and in front of us were really mad at us and they were saying stuff to us. It was hilarious.

See you in 2001 for twice the fun (hint, hint)
4 hours for a water ride. It was terrible. I was in Walt Disney World for Splash Mountain. Then we went back and there were no lines! Amazing. And the ride barely gets you wet.
4 hours for a water ride? Geez, I would have sooner dunked my head under one of the restroom sinks or water fountains.

Longest line for a coaster I've waited in was Millennium Force opening day at approx 8:45pm (they closed Force an hour before park closing that day). It was 2hr 45min long. But for my first ever night ride, it was well worth it, lemme tell ya!
Later in the season (closing Saturday, to be exact) we got in line for MF just prior to park closing at 11:50pm. Turned out the line was about two hrs long as we left the ride's exit at 1:45AM! Definitely the lastest (earliest?)I've ridden a coaster outside of SFGAm employee parties!!

In the future, packages will be sent to distant worlds by BEAMS OF LIGHT! - Space Mountain WDW exit
Outer Limits PKI on opening day. 3+ hours. (One or 2 breakdowns) Worst ride of my life! Guy next to me was bleeding from his mouth! (The banging got his braces against his mouth.) A person behind me was almost unconcious from the pain. I have ridden it 20 times since then and each of those terrible rides was not 1/4 as bad as that day.
On the up side, they had really cool opening day T-shirts! :)

Millennium Force, second week of operation, 2:45 hours, it broke down twice. The rest of the park was walk ons, I got 12 coasters in 6 hours, plus power tower.

*If things seem under control, you're just not going fast enough*
- 3 hours for MF the first time I rode it, but that was on the AAA preview day. I knew it would be worth the wait, and it was.
- 2:30 for Superman at SFNE. What a joy that was. When we got in line, they were running two trains. After about 30 minutes, it broke down, and they took one of the trains off. Great! 30 minutes later, it broke down again, and it took them 45 minutes to get it back up and running.
- 2:30 for Outer Limits at PKI the year it opened. What a mistake that was. I could have just slammed my head into a wall several times and skipped the long wait.
