hey i was wondering what is the longest everyone's waited in a line and for what ride? mine's 3 1/2 hours for Millenium Force.
I think I waited about 2 hours for Millenium Force
I waited three hours for Skull Mountain at SF:Gadv when it first came out. Lets just say I coulda had a V8

Six Flags Great Adventure rules.....well... on weekdays that is
Probably Millennium Force. I think it was about an hour and a half, early morning.
Although, I can't remember how long the wait for Steel Phantom was when I first rode it. I remember it being incredibly long, but there was a big guy behind me who kept cracking jokes about people screaming on the ride. If you've ever seen Steel Phantom, you know about its long, flat section between the first and second hills. I'll never forget (save Altzheimer's setting in) his comments. "Look at that! They start screaming down the first hill, then it gets dead quiet before they go up the 2nd one! Haha! Oooooohhh shhiii.... iiiiiiittt!" Hah!

You build it, I'll ride it
41/2 hour wait on Shockwave at SFGAm its debuted year. They were only running one train this day but had to experience it.

I rode the American Eagle shortly after it opened. They were only running one train on each side. After a couple hours one side broke down and that line was merged into the other. It started raining and we snuck on the last ride before it shut down due to a torrential downpour. Wait time was about 4 hours as I recall. The wettest coaster I have ever been on. LOL

Say no, to lap bar nazis!
A little over 4 hours for Mean Streak in its opening year. It was 95 degrees, and they didn't have the canopies built yet, they put out the misters right at the end of the wait. My MF waits were only 15 minutes and 2 hours, by comparison.
Jman
2.5 hours for Millenium. The sign said it was only a 1.5 hour wait but it ended up 2.5.
I was at PKD two summers ago. I think it was the first year for the Volcano. The wait was 3+ hours. I refuse to wait that long. Plus, I heard a lot of people in the park saying they didn't like the ride.
About 3.5 hours for Batman: The Ride at SFGAm, in 1993...the year AFTER it was introduced.
The Beast in it's inagural year. I think we waited about 3 hours, well worth the wait!I also stood in line about 3 hours to ride Volcano the Blast Coaster at PKD,I thought and still think it was worth it but I only waited once that day.3 hours is a long time to wait in line for anything!Along the lines of waiting time anyone have any thoughts about what kind of a mess the lines for HypersonicXLC will be this year at PKD! It's my home park and I'm sure I'll probably wait in line regardless of how long it is but,,I'm afraid with the capacity of the ride it might just set wait time records, anyone have any thoughts?
My first ever ride on Ghostrider I waited 2 hours 20 minutes. That included two 30 minute breakdowns, the second one I was seated in the train but was forced to get out and back behind the gates for a half hour.
Also 2.5 hours for Batman:TR in 1995, the year after its opening.
Rocket Rods at Disneyland: 2 hours and NOT WORTH IT, not by a longshot. I won't wait longer than 10 minutes for that crummy ride. (not a coaster, but worth mentioning) Hopefully the 7 months of rework that is currently happening will make it better.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
about 3 - 3.5 hours for Batman the Ride in 1992, the first time anyone had seen an inverted, it was well worth it.

#1: Millennium Force
#2: Raging Bull
#3: Tie B:TR/Raptor
#4: Viper (SFGAm)
#5: Goliath/Magnum
4.5 hours for SoB on Memorial Day... Damn long, shouldn't have gone that day...
I'e only waited in about 1.5 for Superman Ride of Steel.

3 hr. wait for Magnum the year it opened

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast
2 hours for good old Mill. Force– and that was with some breaking down.
Cedar Point really did an execptional job this year on that ride!
2 1/2 Hours for Batman at SFMM the year it opened.
Even though I waited for 4 1/2 hours for Shockwave its debut year (I was 17 at the time) thier is no way I would wait that long again for a coaster. I would pass and go on to the next.
