RMC threw Velocity under the bus for the launch, but the more persistent issue seems to be that the ride is tearing itself apart, which is evidenced by the fact that the launch hardware is still in place but the track is being replaced. You'd think this would have to fall under RMC's responsibility, no?
Between this and the issues that Cedar Point has had maintaining the structure of Steel Vengeance, it makes you wonder why RMC is having trouble accounting for the stresses of their rides.
I know of another ride that has had structural issues and its the park themself who's had to solve them as RMC offered no help.

What are you attributing that to? Those kinds of statements seem to cause rumors to fester into facts.

I know at the 2020 Winter C hill Out one of the presenters at the maintenance shop presentation went out of their way to mention all of the structural inspections and unexpected fixes and adjustments they wound up having to do on the ride. Also, on the pre-COVID 2020 Cedar Point Early Entry schedule they made a point to mention Steel Vengeance would only be available for Early Entry on weekends, and it was mentioned in that same presentation the reason for that was all of the structural checks/preventative maintenance that takes place daily/weekly during the season.
