Legend to get PTC trains, go to two-train operation

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

As reported by Paula Werne, Holiday World's public relations "Raven Maven" yesterday in the CoasterBuzz forums, the park will retrofit The Legend for two-train operation and use a pair of new PTC trains. The old Gerstlauer train will be retained by CCI, the coaster's manufacturer, where it will be refurbished and likely find a new home.

The G-Trains are very restrictive on your legs and do not have much padding so when your body is thrown around, your legs take alot of abuse from the skinny uncomfortable lap bar. PTC's are generally very cushy and have big padded lap bars that let you move around even more, and don't pinch your legs like the G-Train restraints.
