Launch Track - Brake Track Up - B-TH-B Suspected

The back tower does bend in, but the wide angle camera makes it look even more "buckled."

umm. transfer track?

This will probably be the only ride at CP that will stack, for over a minute, since if the short shot system is similar to Xcelerator's, a train will need to wait until the other train gets over the hill before coming into the station, and the way Xcelerator's incoming train controls are positioned, they allow the train into the station once the other one hits the overbank, where the op can see it cleared the hill, a good 15 seconds later. If the ride doesn't have 32 passenger trains and an unload station, expect long waits, especially if they pull your restraints down for you. I'm talking capacity around 600pph.

chernabog, transfer tracks are not placed on a footer, but on a transfer table that can be moved to place the train on track, tables often resemble three big lines.

These tables have a motor system which enable it to move track into place of the brake track or other track it moves to transfer trains.

rctycoon2k, the transfer tracks on Intamin coasters are not how you describe. I don't have a pic of the x-fer trax on MF, but I'm sure someone on here can point one out.

Most of the transfer track on Intamin coasters are stationary, and there is one small element that slides onto the main track that directs the train back to the stationary track.

I don't think that kind of nonsense would go over at CP....at KBF, they actually stopped checking restraints so they could *yell* at those guests who started doing their own restraints. Nothing major mind you, just enough to slow down the process.....Knott's...:(. At CP, capacity is king, and that's the main reason IMO that CP is held in such high regard.

RcTycoon2k- That is the brake run. Don't say I didn't warn you guys a while ago. Those fins pass through magnets mounted on the train slowing the train in the same way that the Intamin Gigacoasters are slowed.

John it became so clear what S:TR will do tonight.

We figured out a lot I can't wait to find out how right we are.

Now who is gonna do those calculations we talked about? ;)
