Launch Track - Brake Track Up - B-TH-B Suspected

Well, now that Launch track has been spotted, and brake track has been put up, there goes my thought of more, oh wait, look at row 4 picture 1 on the Virtual Midway construction pics for today, it shows a lone support, short, but what for?

Who really cares anyway? I can't think of anyone here on CoasterBuzz, who given the chance, wouldn't ride it...

The lone support is not connected to a footer. Look at the bolts or whatever around the base of the support. The footers in the background are bolted into the footer and the one in question is not. My guess is that it is just sitting there waiting there to be put where it really goes.

Zero G, you have a good point, and it really makes sense but I think people are just trying to figure out what it is. Also a little bit of arrogance for some...

Not anybody on this site really though...

Yea really, I mean heck this thing is gonna be so huge I think it stands up alone well enough. Hypersonic XLC was short yes but so extremely intense and insane it easily made up for length. This one will definetly make up for it's short length believe me...

I would like to know what this is for. Anybody have a clue?
That is part of the Chaos ride, which was removed earlier in the year.

Please, when making posts such as this, Let us know what park you are referring to. You never even mention the ride, let alone where it is.

I am aware the you are referring to the new project for 2003 at Cedar Point. However, Not everyone reading this thread would know that.

I have read several threads this past month that have not identified a particular ride or park. This gets frustrating.

Do the Moo Shoo!

Actually, I think it does bend in but not that much. Look at this picture. Also look at the other pics and they all show it bend in.

What i figured from this is that the back point is going to bend in so that the structure meets in a point formation at its peak, so this could be an indication that the structure is reaching its highest point (support)

dexter, look at this pic:

the solid concrete footer in the front of the picture is in perfect line from the track on the tower, see how there are little supports to the inside, they are on footers, and is connected the same as any other support.

Personally I'd just throw in one huge 250 ft bunny hop before the brakes. You would fly over that monster!

I think your getting a little over excited and using that "B" key too many times.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

The tower is not "buckling". Wide angle camera lenses distort the outer edges of the picture. I am certain that the tower is still standing straight.

Okay, I guess I post too often to be a lurker now.

No worries, RCT2K, Considering the height and speed, there's gonna have to be a lot of B's...;)
