At CP, it varies. As much as I love MF at night, sometimes I'm too tired from having a great day to wait in the line after dark. Though Raptor, Mean Streak, and Blue Streak are excellent at night. Yes, I said Mean Streak.

Yes, there are quite a few must ride night rides at the Point, Raptor, Mean Streak (with the lights going through the wood it allmost makes you forget how bad this coaster can be :)), MF, and of course Magnum are a must at least once at night.

I don't care what anyone says, Magnum is better then Millenium Force.

I will need a new strategy for the last ride of the day.

I used to ride Shockwave at SFGAm as the last ride of the day, i could ride it 5-10 times in a row without having to leave the station house so it ended the day on a great note!!! Now i will have to find a different ride.

Disneyland: Indiana Jones

SFMM: Goliath or Viper

Knotts Berry Farm: Montazumas revenge

California Adventure:(I leave there at 1 or2 pm to go to Disneyland) California Scremin

Bush Gardens Tampa Bay: Montu

PKI: Son of Beast

Knott's: Ghostrider

Sfmm: I think Goliath.

Alton Towers... near the end of they day Oblivion usually has no ques, thats when the marathon starts, me and my friends probably get 10 rides in the last 30 mins before heading home.... it is always great

I always have to hit raging bull last. And in the last row too. At cedar point it has to be mf.
By the end of the year WT would almost have no line at all, and I think with it right next to the ferris wheel and schwab the aura around it was great. normally Raptor is my last ride as it is also my favourite coaster, after 60 rides on MF I just find Raptor more thrilling, call me crazy.
CP: MF - Just for that feeling of plunging into an abyss.

SFGAm: The Bull

SFWoA: BKF

These three rides are already superior and the night time makes them incredible, tacking on a good final memory of your day at the park.

PKD: Grizzly or Hurler marathon

Kennywood: Definitely the Thunderbolt

CP: Millenium Force

And Trogdor smote the Kerrek, and all was laid to Burnination.

- Superman Ride of Steel or Batman The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England

- Comet or Boomerang at The Great Escape

I used to make it a point to hit Raging Bull for the last ride of my day, but after some amazing rides on Iron Wolf in the cold on the last day of the season, I can say without a doubt that this is the ride I'll end my days on.

Sometimes I wonder whether Vekoma would be better off just changing their name...
Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Last ride is always great on Timbers...followed by me buckling all the belts and walking down entrance with the crew. I miss it :(.

At Cedar Point always always end on Magnum....what could be better :)?

Raptor is usually the last at Cedar Point (or the Demon Drop)

At PKI, it would probably be the Racer or Vortex, or Drop Zone if it's not crowded.

I have the same problem. I used to get 3 or 4 rides in right before leaving but I can't anymore. I might use Whizzer now.

All other parks I just hit whatever coasters have short lines as I'm walking past them on my way to the gate.

All who think Mean Streak needs a match taken to it say I.

At Cedar Point it's Magnum almost every single time. Sometime it's MF, but usually Maggie.

I once was lucky enough to ride the very first AND last ride of the day on The Beast....with most of the brakes off! Added plus...Early morning fog and clear night sky. :) The good times....

IMO what makes a good night coaster is if it's hidden from the rest of the parks lights. Ex: Raven, Legend, The Beast, Wildfire, and Cheetah.
