Last Rides of the Day

At parks that you frequent on a somewhat consistant basis what coaster is your "last ride" at the park?

With regards to what I go on:

SFGAm: The Bull (yup Im a member of the back seat club)

CP: Magnum XL 200 (just read my tag line)

PKI: The Beast (nothing better then a ride on this baby at night)

------------------
I don't care what anyone says, Magnum is better then Millenium Force.

Deja Vu is usually my last ride of the night at SFGAm. I would rather wait in the line after the park has closed so this way if it breaks down it doesn't waste any of my park time. :)

Hershey: A couple quick spins on Sooper Dooper Looper

Dorney: Talon

Knoebels: The High Speed Thrill Coaster (If it's near closing time and nobody else is in line the op will usually give you an extended ride!)

CP: Raptor (IMO, the best night ride ever)

Whenever I go to SFMW, I always marathon one coaster. Thelast visit I did Medusa, the time before I did Roar (in the rain and dark for 2 1/2 hours straight!!) So no matter what I do it seems one of these two rides is the last of the day. I have to say Medusa is more often than not though.
Efteling: Vogel Rok

SFH: Goliath

SFB: Turbine

I've tried to do others, but since I was there on its opening day (well first park operation day) and rode Millie after closing, its sort of tradition for me to hit her late. Even though some nights I'd rather hit Raptor or even last year WT, I still gotta get my last Millie (If nothing else but for the reason that I've forgotten how to remember where I parked my car since 2000 since the parking lot is mostly empty by the time I leave ;) ... although having a bright yellow car helps that one!)

As far as Kennywood goes, gotta be the Thunderbolt followed by some Potato Patch fries at the base of the bowl!

At my home park, CP, my last ride is almost always on Raptor

At great adventure: mostly Nitro or great american scream machine.

At Kennywood: Thunderbolt or Phantom's Revenge (If I can get there before they close the line early).

At cedar point: Raptor and wicked twister

At DP, I usually marathon Talon til the park closes.

At GADV, always marathon nitro til the park closes, because Nitro at night is the best.

Hersheypark: Comet

Knoebels: Phoenix

CP: Millennium Force. What a rush at night! Especially in the last train of the night.

At PKI.. always the Beast, CP calls for MF last rides.. and then a *Stark Raven Marathon* is always in order when visiting HW!

I rarely have a set plan as to what I want to ride last. My most memorable "last rides" each year are on Phoenix, just before park closing on the day after PPP, the day Knoebels closes for the season.

Fall colors, cool crisp air, good friends, and an awesome coaster. At 5pm the ops take one last lap, the caliope across the courtyard is turned off, and in the eerily silent park we all give our bittersweet good-byes and head home as another coaster season ends.

It doesn't get better than that!

On those glissful nights at the Lake, there is nothing better thean riding Ghost Hunt before you leave and argue over who won as you drive home.

Six Flags New England is a different case because the rides don't provide those signature memories at the end of the day, they just make you envy for more thrill. That'swhy my last ride at Six Flags New England is not S:ROS, B:DK, or as most would say Cyclone. To be honest, my day ends with a ride on Penguin's Blizzard River. As the park closes there is really no line on the Blizz' and the bubbling water effect mixed with those gardens lamps at every corner give the feeling of sitting in a steaming hot spring the lies in the Artics. It's a peacful, pleasant, and thrilling(soaking wet!!!) way to end the evening at Six Flags New England, altough S:ROS in the dark is the shizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............

For me it's always a marathon on S:ROS to end the day,I'll just keep queueing up for that ride as long as the line remains open.

Occasionally I do change tactics & prefer to end the evening on a woodie so Roar,or sometimes Wild One turns out to b e the last ride of the night.

CP: Magnum XL-200 (yum!)

Kennywood: Thunderbolt

PKI: The Beast

Indiana Beach: Cornball Express

MIA: Shivering Timbers

To a man seated next to an attractive lady, an hour seems to pass like a minute. But take the very same man and seat him on a hot stove, and a minute will seem like an hour. THAT is relativity!

I like to very it @SFGAm. One night it might be Viper (which is very cool at night) another night it might be Batman.
Racer at PKI is fun, especially if the fireworks are going off (usually takes a couple laps to finish of the fireworks).

Orient Express at Worlds of Fun used to be awsome before they lit up the loops.

At CP, it varies. As much as I love MF at night, sometimes I'm too tired from having a great day to wait in the line after dark. Though Raptor, Mean Streak, and Blue Streak are excellent at night. Yes, I said Mean Streak.

SFWoA also varies though most of the time it's BKF.

PKI is most definitely the Beast though I am intrigued to see how Sonny is at night. I hear it's quite the ride.

SFGAm is definitely Raging Bull. Actually after doing all the things my friends and I want to do at the park, we marathon on Bull from early evening to closing, even if it means a 45 minute wait each time.

BGW - I spent a LOT of time at this park last summer and my friends and I would hit Alpengiest for the final ride since it was close to the ultra cool Imaginique show in Acquitaine. Alpie is definitely one of the top night rides I've ever experienced.
