Somehow, I knew that was coming!

I meant the CARNIVAL ride called Zipper, Rob ;)
I remember a few years back when they let more than one car on the track at a time. Two cars colided when one had a rollback and came at rest at the bottom of the first small drop on the way back to the station. The safety brakes failed and one car partially derailed. I was there when it happened the first time and a buddy of mine told me a year later that it had happened again. That's about the time I noticed them only running only one car at a time.

Even then the line was never too long. I am thinking that maybe low ridership was to blame and not any of the accidents.

I liked the rides uniqueness and charm. It was cute. I always imagined what it would be like indoors and in the dark.

Gator - you have not ridden Little A-Merrick-A's Chance Toboggan.

Silly trivia of the day:

The Little A-Merrick-A Toboggan is the prototype -- serial number "01".

Have to give credit again to Duane at RCDB - the guy knows WAY too much about coasters ;)
