Cincinnati's bid for the 2012 Olympics includes two proposed venues at Paramount's Kings Island. The United States Olympic Committee reviewed the city and it's proposals over the past week.
2012 is a long way away. A city could make tremedous changes in 10 years. I do hope Cinci gets them. I live in Detroit(we all know everyone wants the games in Motown!), we had no luck with Toronto, and Cinci is not that far away at all.
Get the Olympics in the Midwest!

Go Shamrocks!
Go Wolverines!
Then again, if Beijing can get the games, there's no reason Cincinnati couldn't get them

I would not like the olynpics to be there they would probally close the park that year? That would be really bad. :(
What? Are you insane? Why on God's green earth would they close the park when there are an abnormally large number of tourists there that year?

the odds that Cincinatti gets the games for 2012 or any year for that matter are as likely as the Reds getting the World Series this year.
Oh, and when the Olympic Committee said they were impressed, no doubt they said the same thing at every other city they had been to. It is impossible for Cincy to ever get the games. No chance whatsoever.
OK, it's fine that you think that, but would you care sharing why?

Just don't forget about all the other cities they are up against. They may look like they have a good bid, but their are alot of cities that do also, that have public transportation lines in right now, like New York, or the Bay Area. And who says that if they win the US bid they will win the IOC bid to host the Olympics. All I'm saying is that this isn't a done deal, and PKI might be putting in a 700 foot Super Mega Giga, or whatever the technology is by then, instead of the Kayak course
