Kings Island Flight Deck Roller Coaster Question

Wow. Just a bit of an overreaction, bjames? I've been posting on the Buzz sites and on other sites for over a decade, and I've never seen the repeating pattern of the past 6 months. It was confusing to say the least.

Kaelan has been made aware that he got caught up in a bizarre pattern, and I have apologized. He even recognized that in reading the other threads, he could understand how I'd feel confused by the similarities. Case closed.

I've never understood this expectation that, with just a basic verbal description of a body type, anyone on here can get a definite yea or nay. It's the same species of question as "Will the park be crowded on..." or "What rides will run in a xx mph wind?" For all these types of questions, people want a comforting definitive answer. This sort of desire for assurance is understandable, but it's grating and tiring to hear the same unanswerable questions time and again.

I'm not trying to be overly snarky, but if demanding a definite answer to a vague question burned calories, everyone would fit on the rides.

Parallel lines on a slow decline.

Oh dear, another coincidence, Break Trims. I had a section in my 4:50AM post that said, "It's sort of like those questions regarding whether or not a park will be crowded on...or if all the rides will be open on some future day. There just isn't a definite answer."

I then trimmed that section out of my post, as it was getting too lengthy. My world is crumbling. It doesn't make sense anymore. lol

These threads about will I or won't I fit on (insert ride from Kings Island)...

Sucks.

I'm sheriff of this here rollercoaster.

Stop quoting posts like that every time you post, its agianst the TOS. If you post publicly on a message board, it is my business. Your snarky comment back to Jeff was barely intelligible.

Go Away.

Actually Jeff.. i had a fulfilling sleep last night, so i'm not very tired. But thank you for your concern, it's greatly appreciated. Have you lost something? Because i think that i found your nose.. it was where it shouldn't be.

I don't even know what that means, but everything here is my business because this is my business.

If you can't understand not quoting every post, you probably don't belong here.

Maybe directing you to the "rules" would help you to understand.

As far as fitting on Flight Deck, I say you will probably not fit. I was at my heaviest last month, 270 pounds naked, and I got just two clicks on the shoulder harness on FD. Coming so close to not being able to fit on the rides that I love really gave me a wake up call. I have already lost about 10 pounds since then, and I plan to just keep going. I was at Hersheypark a few days ago and noticed a big difference on how much easier I was able to fit onto the rides. Exercise and shrinking portion sizes, along with getting myself addicted to water has made my life so much better.

And that is the only honest, true answer that I can offer to you.

Edited - changed the word "him" to the word "you."

Are you currently naked?

I took your post the wrong way, my bad. My post would have made sense to you if you knew what i thought that you meant in your "fatigue" post.

And FYI everyone, i am NEW to this site so i didn't realize that you aren't supposed to quote posts, that's how i thought you would see them directly, my bad.

It's alright Kaelan. Some people on this site just aren't very accommodable.

People can be a tad harsh sometimes. Given.

Nonetheless, the link Lost Kause provided....that's like gold. It is critical to read that link if you want to be well-received here.

I'll continue to try and smooth out the rougher edges, because that's what I've been up to for about 13 years or so...but some folks can be more expressive than others when they're bothered by poor grammar, spelling ,punctuation, or seeing the same topic repeatedly.

Humans.... ;~)

NB: Just completely my final exam for the semester, and I'm cocktailed...Happy (seems like) Friday!

Dear CoasterBuzzers Old and New:

I'm still counting.

Love,

Carrie :-)

PS: I propose that becomes the CB theme song. ;-)

"If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins." --- Benjamin Franklin

I found two things from this song:

1. This is the life motto for many coasterbuzzers which I will not name.

2. The person second to the left at 2:48 really looks like Miguel Cabrera from the Detroit Tigers.

Perhaps the "will I fit" topic should be added to item 4 in the TOS?

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

I just hope coasterbuzz doesn't turn into a "which diet works?" site because that's what all these will I fit topics are going to turn into. There is no answer to if you will fit because everyone's bodies are shaped differently. You will have to figure out for yourself. If you were to ask me if I fit into Flight Deck, I'd say "yes". I have no clue about you. The only way to make sure you'll fit is to lose as much weight as possible. I know that's hard, but it'll be worth it.
