Which brings up another thought: based on the success of KI's this year, the year after Diamondback, maybe we'll see this at KD next year?
I can see them putting this into all of their parks at any time. Well, all of their parks except Michigan's Adventure. No real point to putting it in there 'cause that place doesn't get dark in the summertime.
I'm trying to remember...wasn't it announced for Cedar Point *after* the season started?

I think so, Dave.
Vater, I hope so, and I hope Carowinds gets it too. I figure there won't be anything major next year, but a Starlight Experience would do well there.
On a Side note...Got nite rides on Intimidator south last nite. The 2nd trim was either very light or didn't hit at all for 3 of the 4 rides, and on my very last ride at park closing, (I got 4 rides total) the 2nd trim didn't hit, which really makes or breaks the ride. Intimidator can be a very fun and mildly aggressive B&M.
Seeing as how it opened with the park, no, it was announced before Cedar Park opened.

Starlight did not open with the park, they tested it opening night but the full experience did not start until Memorial Day Weekend. Cant remember when it was announced though.
