My main real issue with Thunderhead is the drop...I like 'em tall and I like 'em steep!!

When I went to Great Adventure on july 13th, both Kingda Ka and Chiller were down *all day*. I hate to say it, but the fact that Great Adventure is actually notifying the public that kingda Ka is going to be down for these days in August, I am not impressed. That is, what is the point? Chiller has been down, Kingda Ka has been down, so what that they announce it? If you travel to the park on, say, August 12th and find that kingda Ka is down, are you really going to be disappointed? Or are you going to think - that's what I expected.

I'm bitter.

Yeah I know, and I'm perhaps the only person who would choose Thunderhead over two superpowers like Voyage and El Toro. I love all three, but for me Thunderhead does *everything* it was designed to do flawlessly. The pacing is there, great floater air, it's not rough or overly-smooth. And the killer for me is that I could see Thunderhead running this way 25 years from now, whereas I could see both of the other two seriously tamed over the years. Well, let's just hope for the best.
