Just though this as a heads up incase anyone was planning a trip up to Jackson with the sole purpose of riding KK.
But, even though it was up and down all day, they did have it running shortly after our ERT started. I didn't keep count, but I'm sure I got over a dozen circuits on Toro including a front and back seat ride.

Six Flags is actually telling us it will be down for a change. Not waiting till you get to the park
Toro IS the reason to go to SFGAdv, Ka was a neat "credit" - whereas Dragster is still FUN to ride.

I still got to give my #1 spot to Voyage. But, El Toro is definatly #2.
Btw, I hate to say it, but after finally riding The Voyage the other day with the trims on...ET is now my #1 wood...BUT with the trims off (like for CB's Fall Affair), The Voyage will temporarily go back to it's deserved #1 spot due to it's length and punch being a little harder that ET's...but it's still a #1*

Nice to hear some Dragster praise for a change. And after 300 rides, I'll agree. It's still FUN! :)
It's actually good to see that Six Flags is announcing the closure ahead of time. That's how a well managed company handle situations that comes up with certain rides. Little by little they are getting better all the time.

I go a bit against the grain here and say that I like Thunderhead a bit more than ET or Voyage, and actually like Voyage third best of the three.
Having said that, I doubt a mid-course trim will effect my feeling on the ride much at all. Let's just say Voyage 'had me' *long* before the mid-course anyway. If the ride had ended at the mid-course it would still be my third favorite woody, it's just THAT good.

Well, the lapbar is a big part of it for me....but the biggest advantage of Dragster is that I feel *secure* in the belief that I (and the train) will return to the station in one piece.
I had heard about the rattling and shuffling of Ka, but until I rode it myself, I can't say I was fully convinced. Wow is that a POS in comparison to TTD...just wow....
Several people I know who had ridden TTD and were getting their first ride on KK said they were rattled so much on KK, that they'd never ride it again, and they're all fans of TTD.
On the same note, I also met several people who had never ridden TTD who said they absolutly loved KK.
I too, much prefer TTD to KK.

I think the maintenance should be on making it more enjoyable.

Unfortunate that the cable won't last a season.
