But...But...But...Cedar Point did it first, Cedar Point did it best, and no one will ever top what Cedar Point did.
Someone just did "top" it!...
Besides, what is all the arguing about how they copied TTD about? It is total BS! Why should Cedar Point be the ONLY park in the world that gets to have a stratacoaster with a launch, up and down design? Not everyone wants to travel hundres or thousands of miles to ride one! What is wrong with having one TALLER and FASTER lol on the East Coast? NOTHING! Look at all the other 'copy' rides that every other park has around the world. Cedar Point is NOT the only amusement park in the world people. There are other parks, not everyone lives in Sandusky, OH! I mean when other parks topped Magnum's height, did everyone start dogging other parks because Cedar Points 'height' should not have gone outside of Cedar Point? This is ridiculous! I visited Cedar Point in May of 2000 for the first time and was not that impressed with the park (from all the hype I had heard about it), it wasn't all that. I have yet to return. There are to many other parks in my area, including SFGA for me to travel 10 hours for what Cedar Point has. Hum, two record breakers for SFGA in 2 years, going once, twice, sold... *** Edited 5/24/2005 8:38:58 PM UTC by Sseadoubleyou*** *** Edited 5/24/2005 8:40:38 PM UTC by Sseadoubleyou***
The line for KK was way too long on Sunday. So, I went on everything else that was running. I decided to go on KK Monday. On Sunday evening it closed for the night for a supposed "electrical" issue...only SF knows for sure. On Monday it didn't open up until around 4pm. Some said it was the electrical issue. Others even said it was because they didn't have enough employees to run it until school was out for the day. Regardless it finally opened.
I've been on TTD many times. I did finally get to ride KK. The hill after the drop was "neat." It was nothing mind-blowing. It was a hill with brakes on the way down that slam you in to the restraints... that was a joy! The restraints didn't bother me one bit other than the brake incident. They were comfortable even at 6'1". The only other thing that I noticed was that it had a nasty vibration the whole time. TTD seemed much more smooth.
Aside from those things I really didn't notice much of a difference in height or speed. But, who cares...it was still fun.
All you CP fans should be thrilled!
sometimes Six Flagers win and some time CP wins.

this time Six Flags wins

six flags can never take away the uniquness of TTD

They really need a sarcasm smiley. :)
i'm not sure what to put here..
Personally I've riden Kingda Ka 9 times, in every seat(front is best!). I've only Riden dragster twice, front and back. They both have they're good and bad points. But I'm not gonna praise or bash either one.
If you're gonna eventually ride it, don't talk sh*t. We all have love for our home parks, SFNE is mine-I know it's def. not the best-but it's home. So just be happy, spend less time on the web and more time with airtime.
OK? :)

Ok Ok fine. We all know that you *know* something about a coaster that will surpass KK's record. I have formally acknowledged all your plugs here and there. Contente?
Fate is the path of least resistance.
