Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
First of all - 1EyedJack - way to be on the cutting edge and bring up an article that was written on media day! (2 1/2 weeks ago ;) ) I don't know where we'd get our current news around here if it wasn't for you.
And you have some issues dude! Your ignorant comments made me laugh. I'm not sure if you were kidnapped and raped by gangs last time you were in NJ/NY or if it's something as simple as one of the local sports teams beating your favorite team, but you need to work that out.
Good luck!

NY-bashing, SF-bashing, the famous 2007 CP record-breaker rumor, KK-bashing, TTD-is-better chanting, and last but not least, bashing other people's ideas about what a ride or ride experience is like.
Hoorah.
I'll link to this thread next year when I prove myself right. ;)

I think this thread has EVERYTHING!
Close, it doesn't have the mind-numbing trolling and attention whoring of youngstud98. If you haven't experienced his master trolling, visit the Busch Williamsburg thread! (I still think it's Jeff or another mod just having fun...why else would his account still be around? ;) )
And to the idea of S:TE "going bye-bye," I hope you're right. How sweet would a rocket be that started where S:TE does, goes out in the same manner, up a true 400+ feet, then drops all the way to the ground in front of the Goliath entrance with a 1 3/4 spiral (opposed to the 3/4 spiral on TTD and KK), with a true monster hill going up and above the original track level, then down into the station... This could be the first 500' drop coaster, and the first Intamin Rocket to truly use the terrain to its advantage. **DROOL**
But then again, what do I know?
It doesnt matter if they break the record.
Then six flags can market having 2 of the worlds tallest coasters.
Why must people comparee and bash ttd and kk.
They are the same and if you think about it dont really compete with each other.
I live on long island and it is very hard and impractacal for me to go to cedair point. Why go there when i can spend the money to go to universal studios and disney worlkd.
For me it is more practical to drive the one hour and thirty minutes to go to sfgadv then the day long drive to ohio
Will S:TE go? Maybe, Maybe not. But don't bet on Ka being the tallest for too long. And somehow, I wouldn't be my life savings that CP is all that interested in grabbing the title back so soon. But what do I know?
Don't take your launchers (KK and Dragster) for granted, guys!

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/05/20/earlyshow/leisure/main696741.shtmlSays roller coaster historian Steve Urbanowicz, "It's really in its own category."
Urbanowicz says he's been on 875 coasters around the world. But none like this"He must never leave the NY/NJ area. Just because it is a tad bigger and a tad faster than dragster doesnt put it in "its own category".
Just more proof that New Yorkers and New Jersians dont beleive a world exists outside of there states.
Do me a HUGE FAVOR. Go read the article again. the words "but none like this" were not from me, they were the writer's own editorial remarks just prior to my quote..
Why in hell would I say I have not been on anything "like this" when I HAVE BEEN.
Bet your butt I've been outside of the NY/NJ area. In closing, next time you go accusing me of lying or saying something I didn't say, get your facts straight, and then just pi** off. :)
Have a nice day!
I'm really disappointed to hear you say that, Steve.
I was just about to hit the NY/NJ area for the Coastaplaya 875 since the coasters were all right there.
Today really sucks now!

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
