King Cobra

Now wait a minute, doesn't Busch brew King Cobra Malt Liquor? Sounds like a great addition for a Sea World or something. ;)

As long as you mean *my* Sea World, I'm all for it....

Seriously, at $1.1M, no one's buying KC....DF sat on the market listed at $4M....don't these people realize that in order to SELL something, it might need to be "priced to sell". I just think KC was far too good of a ride to end up as the beer CANS....

Well I just wish they would bring it back fo a year or two. Because I never got to ride it.
Jacob...you are always welcome to come on down to PKD & ride Shockwave while it's still standing.

It produces pretty much the same head banging for your buck that KC did with an even uglier paint scheme & horribly long line free of charge.

And it's a shame because you missed out on the world's best steel coaster......

I've heard it was bad. But I would still have liked to ride it.

Thanks,

Batwing

Maybe SF will buy it an enter it into their ride rotation program.

Use the rails for a new ladder in case Drop Zone gets stuck
Well looks like the Cobra is scrap. Wonder how much it will go for as scrap melt? Who know they mite reuse the melt in the lines at Boomerang Bay. :)

Jacob, I don't think it was bad. I thought it was pretty fun. The restraints were kinda cumbersome though.

Speaking of those restraints...how exactly did they work. I always wondered about that. Did King Cobra have a little bicycle seat as well?

Two "D"-shaped restraints that you put your arms through

One "L" shaped lap bar that didn't quite reach your belt line

and yes....

One little bicycle seat

Man at least when KC got repainted they kept the original structural colors because Shockwave went from black & yellow to a horrible blue color with multi colored rails, much like KC's rails.

KC's train colors looked better too,Shockwave's train went from blue/yellow to an ugly orange/yellow.

Hey Gator, maybe they will put on the cans "Recycled from Da Cobra". :)

Seriously, you wont see KC go anywhere. I know why, but I cant tell noone, cause then I would be in trouble.

Also, sorry for the long hiatis, Ive been a trifle busy.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off it ends up somewhere.

If I were rich enough I'd buy Cobra and put it in my back yard.
King Cobra is never gonna come back sadly (:-D) but Shockwave will be around for a while, and it runs pretty good, it's no TOGO, but it's rough.
