Kennywood or Gaeuga Lake???

Um, I'm not sure what Kennywood you're visiting, but I've never been harassed by a "teenager" or cut in front of at Kennywood. That's what I've gotten at Geauga Lake. And normally, it's not the teenager that does the harassing - it's the 20-something they're with who drove them to the park and paid for them to get in that does it.

If you're going to bash and put down a park for "unruly teenagers", Geauga's your target, not Kennywood.

We went to kennywood last sunday. The parking lots were full, but the lines really were not all that long as they have a lot of rides for the size park it is. Everything was running, grounds were clean, and prices are very nice including the food and drinks (biggest size pepsi product was $2.00). And as mentioned free parking in the 2nd and 3rd levels.....you dont get the feeling you have been fleeced when you go to Kennywood.

Its a nice mix of good coasters and excellent flat ride collection including a classic hard-to-find and VERY fast Schwarzkopf Bayern Kurve. I found most of the flat rides have nice longer cycles than the typical amusement park.

Only thing missing there is loops.....which i still think the shuttle loop that they had would still fit in perfect there.

I would go to Kennywood. Phantom's Revenge is awesome and the woodies are pretty good too. I like Geauga Lake's lineup but you said you were coming from Philly. You already have a floorless and flyer at SFGAdv and you will be hitting an impulse at Cedar Point. With all that taken into consideration I say choose Kennywood.
I'd say dump them both and go to Hershey and get yourself a ride on Storm Runner.

If you do Kennywood... Get your Tickets at AAA (if you are a member). They are like $18 and you get a free ticket to the water park. Sell them on E-bay, and that makes your trip to Kennywood real cheap. Kennywood is now advertising on Cleveland radio!!!!
