Keep June 2 open... Chocolate Buzz at Hersheypark!

I'm trying to figure out how to make this one work. You see, I work on weekends and I've already asked off for vacation time in the middle of June, including a weekend.

Let's see, I get off of work in Timonium, MD around 7:15 p.m., and it takes roughly an hour-and-a-half to get there. I might be able to make this work. The problem would be getting home to Baltimore the following morning and getting up at 5:50 a.m. to get back to Timonium. That would not be cool.

Cool! I'm sure you will be getting lots of "kisses" coming your way Jeff. :)

Will there also be beer? Nothing goes better with a good dark chocolate than some good beer!

^^^^ The only way SR would beat Xcellerator and Dragster for me is if they removed those blasted OSTRs. This is one of the best things about the former--lap bar freedom and less pain!

^Ben, I keep forgetting about your height. I hope you make out all right this summer at CP.

Poopie. Right after I moved out of the North East. Maybe I can schedule a trip home around that time.

Do I smell ERT?

I think that's the cocoa bean mulch they put around all the landscaping. ;)

Also, ditto what dannerman had to say re: sp's and our 29 percent (aka the "Gonch coefficient.")

^^^ Rob, even some of the folks that I have ridden it with that are shorter than I have found it uncomfortable, at least to a certain extent.

I think Intamin was trying to find something that works, but I don't think they've found a masterpiece yet in those OSTRs. I hope Maverick doesn't hurt like Storm Runner can--I have to ride that thing defensively to enjoy it.

Something I don't like about Intamin is that they don't build their rides for tall folks very well all the time, unlike a certain other Swiss firm we know about :)

I've got the registration flyer done... just waiting to get approval from the park. Looks like we'll come in a couple of bucks under regular admission (which of course doesn't include ERT or food!).

Sounds Sweet
I will do my best to be at this event. I also have a season pass for Hershey. But even if there isn't discounted price for season pass holders this deal will be sweet!

Watch the tram car please....

I'll "buy" you a chocolate bar after riding the Xtreme Cup Challenge.

Looks like you just may have to "buy" him one now. ;)
