KBF Construction Update - walls up in Fiesta Vill.

Tumbler was also one of the few flat rides one could get airtime on. Now what airtime whore would not like a ride like that? Hopefully whatever Knott's does put in its place will make up for that ride being lost. I loved riding it at Coaster Con.

Tumbler would fit where Boomerang is at Knott's. They could send Boomerang to CP to up the count there and keep Tumbler where it belongs. I'm not being selfish, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!

I would have preferred that Knotts keep Tumbler [and Gran Slammer if possible] amd put the new flat over in Ghost Town on the former site of VertiGo! But I'm sure the park has a good reason for doing what they're doing.

'Moosh....don't really know Knott's THAT well...is it possible that they are thinking of using the VertiGo site for something a bit more *sizable*...future expansion plans, etc. Remember, there was something mentioned about another (future) Intamin project at last year's Solace, IIRC....

'Gator - right now that plot is being used as a BBQ Rib eatery but it does not look permanent. As for the 2004 coaster I have no idea where they're gonna put it.

They're gonna put it right before the brake-run on Xcelerator. You do know that was only a starter kit and the rest of the ride is to be added later. 2004? ;)

Future expantion is the only explanation I can see for why the new Huss (if that's what it is) didn't go where VertiGO was. Then again, a coaster wouldn't really fit there, but a station & queue would.

Also, I think a standard Huss Frisbee would easily fit in Tumbler's current footprint. Perhaps the Giant Frisbee is not out of the question?

Dawn....lame kiddie rides? A Double Shot, Den of Lost Thieves, Swings out over the water, a Falling Star (becoming more rare by the day it seems). Did I mention Den of Lost Thieves.....SO sweet, and next time "Annie Oakley" is going DOWN....IB has some great rides, sure there's some *kiddie rides*, but that's diversification, and it will serve them well....esp. if they keep adding *family coasters* like Cornball...ACK!

Now, back to KBF....I think boblo is *Yank-ing our chain*...mixing threads AGAIN...once he relaxes with a *fag*, he'll calm down and tell us the REAL '04 intamin addition, and that'll explain the locations of the incoming flat...;)

No no no...not those rides...are you kidding me? ;) That would definitely make me lose my k3wl status...plus that's what I love about IB. I meant the kiddieland kiddie rides, airplanes,etc., that you pass on the way back to CE, HH, and the log flume. And I don't really think they should lose them... argh...we need a word to describe the way stuff just gets mis-interpreted in the online world...it's not quite sarchasm...but something like that. :)

Tumbler would be SWEET over the water though.....nice lighting package and all....but I don't *think* CF is ready to *bail* on the ride just YET....IF they are, I hope they sell it SOON. Tumbler is just TOO good, too rare, too intense, too much EJECTION air, to sit idle for an entire season....that would *plain suck*...:(
