Ka Major Breakdown....again!

I was told it would be open for Coaster Celebration on 6/17
Not to give anyone false hope, but Six Flags is having a company fete the night of June 13 at the park. Kingda Ka is touted in Mark's letter that went out this week. It's why the park closes at 3pm that day, FYI.

I know what you're saying. This function may have been planned long before they understood the gravity of the Kingda Ka downtime. But if you're inviting institutional investors and analysts to come check out all of the improvements at Six Flags at a whole by showcasing one park in a private event, you know that you would be flipping over backwards to make sure the tallest coaster is up.

Just food for thought.

Are we gonna go through this everytime the ride breaks?

There would be discussions if any other park's signature attraction went down for months at a time too. No one is forcing you to read this thread; the five pages of replies should be your first indication that you're the minority here.

Not that I care to argue, but most of the five pages were just people speculating on what caused the accident. My post was in response to Swoosh's whining about SF's decision to build KK. I'm a supporter of good discussion. Incessant complaining about the same thing over and over gets old.
KA was testing today! See pics over @ www.gainsider.com *** Edited 5/23/2006 3:14:07 AM UTC by Coreo***

Shows you how much respect I have for you when I didn't even realize that was aimed at me until you stated it was.

I stand by my comment.
