Universal Orlando Resort officials announced that on June 10, thrill-seekers will have the opportunity to soar 155 feet in the air and catapult up to 70 mph alongside a ferocious velociraptor pack on the Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Florida’s fastest and tallest launch coaster, located at the Islands of Adventure theme park.

Hagrid’s only goes virtual when the crowds become too much too handle. I expect the same here.
Outside of the tit freezing February weekday I wrote about here once where the park was dead, I've only ever seen it on virtual.
I'm hoping Velocicoaster capacity is high enough where the crowds need to be significantly above average to flip that switch to Virtual Queue.
I've only seen the VQ during my pandemic visits. FWIW It's currently marked as a 60 minute wait.
And in our experience, always a bit less. Last night, marked at 75 normal queue into the overflow and we were on in 30. Line flies!
We went to ride Hagrid’s in February of 2020. We were in the park as early as we could manage- it wasn’t for lack of trying, there was quite a crowd at the gate. We got to the ride and the promised/posted wait time of 90 turned into an actual wait 3 hours and 10 minutes. Downtime, downtime, downtime.
I left Orlando 2 weeks ago. Too bad I missed this soft opening. It sounds like an easy one to catch with minimum hassle.
My kid is at the park today. Posted a picture of the 240 minute line. Said he is going to do it. I guess that is the difference between a 22 year old and a 53 year old. I sure would not stand in that line. I would ride the other stuff instead.
I completely forgot it wasn't officially open until today because they have done such a good job with the soft open. Seeing the line on the news today and knowing it's been open for the last 6-7 weeks with wait times in the 30-45 minute range (with 15 minute waits in the evening) makes me happy to be in my office this morning and not at the park.
The app has a posted wait time of 180 minutes right now. That is 160 minutes longer than I will wait for a ride. Maybe I'll ride it in 2023 just before the park closes on a Tuesday in February.

Was it still open earlier this week for the soft opening? He is in Orlando all week but he scheduled his park visit specifically for today to ride it. I didn't even think about him having the chance to get on it on Monday or Tuesday.
Said it was fantastic. Ended up being only 2 hours from getting in line to off of ride. And they gave him a free churro when he exited.
As others have said, it’s been soft opened for weeks. They were really being careful to not have another Hargrid-like failure.
The churros are a nod to them denying it was Jurrasicoaster and claiming it was a churro stand before the official announcement… :)

I love that
I know I’m late to the party but, down here for HHN and wow is this coaster sweet. I think I have a new Intamin speed coaster, sorry Maverick. It may even crack the top ten, smooth, forceful, full of airtime and comfortable. Home run.
