Jeff a hypocrite?

heres a suggestion: follow your own TOS!

Who cares if it's his site! True, that gives him some priveleges, but if he wants others to follow his TOS, the least he can do is provide a good example! I bet this thread gets deleted b/c he doesn't want to hear the truth...

Ya, before this topic gets deleted, I want to say this:

Whenever someone claims "Oh, Jeff is a hypocrite." the mods say to talk to Jeff about it or one of the mods. Then they close the topic. Well, has anyone ever tried to IM or e-mail him. He never replies. So, Jeff, you shouldn't ban the person, close or delete the topic until you tell us what you think you baby.

Dumb question:Why do you care if he doesnt follows his TOS.Considering your the one who decided to join.So you are the one at fault.In other words if you dont like the way JEFF RUNS HIS SITE.Than leave and have your account deleted,and forget about it.

Hey, I totally agree with you 2!  I have tried to IM him to talk to him about something and he blocked my IM.  He has never responded to ANY of my e mails!  And he still tells us to e mail him and not talk about it on the site.  I have a feeling that this topic is going to get deleted too because he doesn't want to face the truth.  If he does he will do it through a 2 line post that degrades us for telling the truth and insults us because we forgot a "." there or a "," here! 

 

Follow you own rules, then maybe you will run a better site!  This site has so much potential and I would hate to see it go down the drain because some people are stuck up.  If I get blocked for this it would be non-sense for the reason that you just can't handle the truth!  Yes, I have been reading this site for a long time and the more users it gets the more a certian person or group of people get stuck up.  I mean, I'm a mod over at ACN and I still love to interact and take suggestions from fellow users on the site.  At least talk to your own people!  You not royality KING PUTZ! 

 

This is how I turly feel and the reason that I HAVE to post is, is because if I tried to send it via e mail you would never respond to it.  At least this gives you the chance and others to see my opinion. Take the suggestions to mind.  Otherwise, let it all go to your head and keep building the wall bigger and bigger between the users and the high ups.  Thanks for your time.

Well, I am thankful Jeff runs this site the way he does.  He does it for a reason.  Since Jeff 'owns' the site he can do whatever he  wants.  That is his choice.  If you dont like how he runs it then leave.  Otherwise enjoy what you have and quit whining.  Jeff does not have to run this site.  He does not have to keep it out here for us.    Please read the Libera Manifesto and then you will understand more about the way he runs the website.  Also if you were a webmaster yourself you might understand this already.

I actually brought this point up in the past, but did it in a mature manner with some intelligent thought put into it.  I'm a softie, I don't like to see people maligned in public.  I was satisfied with the response I got--on e-mail.  It's really a discussion that you should conduct via e-mail.  If you're anyway intelligent and if you have a legitimate point, I don't think Jeff will ignore you.  But before you go for it, carefully measure your deleted posts against the TOS.  You may have been violating an obvious (or not-so-obvious) rule and maybe you didn't realize it.  Of course, I don't know, I never saw the posts, ha ha ha. 

Thank you Gal, and no, I have not received any such e-mail from any of the above people. Anyone who feels it's necessary to air their angst in public obviously isn't sure they have any legit reason to complain, so they do it in public in hopes that someone will side with them.

That's lame.

And yes, I will run the site the way I choose. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other sites out there where you can waste their time and bandwidth.
