Japanese parks, please describe them!

Wow...toilets and the doing of one's business. Interesting discussion. I think I should tell you of my last trip to Japan, to add my praise of the high-tech potties over there. My wife and I stayed in Hotel Olive, at Nagashima Spaland. You can get great deals on rooms that include a 2-day pass at Spaland, and you even get your own entrance into the park-- and it's the one closest to Steel Dragon! Really, it's the way to go, and it's surprisingly affordable considering you get the park passes. You get to walk around the hotel in a kimono, they have a great little onsen (hot spring baths), and the toilets are heated and equipped with bidets (did I spell that right). It's amazing how enjoyable it can be to have a jet of water shot up your uh, well..........Anyhoo, we also stayed for one night at the hotel that's connected to Fuji-Q, and went to the park for one full day. The hotel there has a bowling alley and game room, and like Hotel Olive, you can get special one-night rates that include a pass to the park. We got to go on Dodonpa, and what a mind-bender that was. Its launch rendered me stupid, more so than usual. We also went to the Disney parks there, and I have to say that Disney Sea was the most amazing place I've ever been. The park is really quite small, but it doesn't feel that way when you're there. The food is really good, each area had food that went along with its ethnic theming. The longest line in the whole park was actually for sausage gyoza, which was only available at one stand with two cash registers tops.

Hey Chris, did you notice the hot puffy pastry shops that sell the creme filled (ala Krispy Kreme) sticky buns? Dang, are those good, and only 100 yen. The lines go for blocks... :) These shops are usually in the train stations.. those perfect train stations. Getting around is so easy in Japan. If it were that way here in Seattle, we'd see each other more, eh?;)

I love those cream puffs. I especially like the ones with green tea flavored cream in them. mmmmmmm, so good. And if we had trains here that were as convenient as those in Japan, I'm sure I'd be inspired to get out more. Although, aside from my trips to and from school every day, I'm pretty much a hermit these days.
