I've never ridden a coaster! Let me know...

I havn't been on any of SF Marine World, but I've been on the clone of V2 (V2 at SF Great America)

I wouldn't recommend it for your first coaster. It was my first launched coaster in 10 years, so I didn't know what it would be like. It was the only time in the past 5 or 6 years that I was thinking "what are you doing!?" So, do V2 after a couple other big rides.

You should probably go on Roar first. I love all wood, even if I havn't been on it. They are fun, intense, and if it's a good one, feels way faster than it really is. Unfortunatly, many people complain about SF not maintaining woodies that well. The only experience I've had with it would be at SFGAm, where American Eagle is a dud and Viper is a the best coaster in the park.

If you want to go on steel, go for Medusa. Newer B&M coasters are fun and relativly not-intense, nothing like thier older coasters (Iron Wolf and Batman are way more powerful than Raging Bull. Why couldn't they have built Raging Bull more like Batman?)

*music*It's the most commercialized time of the year!*music*

I hated coasters when I first went on Shockwave at SFGAm, but then I went with my friends and the first thing we rode was raging bull and I loved it. Just saying that if you dont like them at first keep trying and soon you will live to ride coasters.(Unless you have a bad case of motion sickness :) )
