There was a reported 2 feet of snow that dumped in the Dakotas. I am not sure if it was North or South Dakota... however,

This just goes to show you WHY they will not build an amusement park up there (if you remember, there was a topic awhile ago about why certain locations don't have a park)!! If it can snow 2 feet in October... it just goes to show you how short their season would be if they had one up there!!

I don't wanna ride or walk around an amusement park making snow angels or getting snow cones free just from scooping my hand to the ground!!

--I wonder how the people in South Park can handle amusement parks in winter (like the one Cartman owned)?

Cedar Point is open tonight, but not much is running and there is almost no one there.

NewsNet 5 is reporting that SFWOA will not open, but they provide no details.

It has snowed a little in Colorado, good because the ski resorts will start opening, bad because the parks close, not that ours are anything special anyways.
It's snowing in Central NY. Even though I am sad to see the "coaster season" end I am geared up for a great winter of skiing and snowboarding!!

Snow in Buffalo this morning and last night. Along with hail and winds that are knocking trees down. I love it!

Some of the Ski Areas in Colorado have already opened, which meansthat I can start skiing, which is my winter alternative to coaster riding soon.  WooHoo!
