I didn't think Rotten Wolf Blahs had any highlights. Oh wait getting off was good! It wasn't rough, no pops of air, weak laterals, and slow speeds was all I found. For a beginner I think it would be a great ride. Although when I rode it it just opened around 6pm on a rainy day. We rode about 5 times in different spots. Maybe RWB is one you need to ride after she's been running all day.

Hello, My name is Dan and I'm a coasterholic.
I always enjoy riding Raging Wolf Bobs. The consensus of the group I last went to SFWoA with had Big Dipper as the best wooden coaster there, followed by Raging Wolf Bobs, and the Villian, well, we rode the Villian once to say we rode it but none of us found is to be particularly exciting. Not a bad coaster, just not one we particularly liked. (Steelwise we were all quite taken with S:UE.)
I really don't like this coaster. One lap was plenty for me in my lifetime. I would love seeing another coaster replace it. If you ask me that would be the perfect location for a hyper station.

I like the coaster but in the back.. its a little of a rough ride. Go to the front. Its smoother.

Season at SFWoA: 3 Trips, 1 X-Flight, 5 Superman, 4 Batman, 2 Serial Thriller, 8 Villain, 1 Mr. Hydes, 1 Shipwreck Falls, 1 Grizzley Run, and 1 Dodgems!
i rode it last year, and I enjoyed it. It was better that Serial Thriller anyway!
When it opened back in '88 it was very fast and smooth. The 2nd drop and curved speed bump that followed gave a HUGE kick. I think it is a significant ride because it was a "bridge" to the newer wilder woodies built in the 90's... they were sticking their necks out trying to build a "wild" ride and it led to things like the Timberwolf and Texas Giant.
I rode it once since then, probably back in 1992 or 1993. It was pretty bumpy, and looks ucky with the white paint. I think with an overhaul, it could be a great ride again. A couple tunnels would be nice too!

Ow! My lap bar IS down all the way.
Compared to the original Bobs it is a tame ride. That is because rule got more stringent about allowable G-forces, steepness of turns, etc.
I agree with Coaster Bill though, there were not many woodies being built when Geauga Lake went out and built the Bobs. It led to the renaissance of the wooden coaster and most definately is not worthy of being torn down.
If you don't like it...get out of line!
RWB is an awesome coaster. I rode it at night after a hard rain, and no one else was in line. I got 9 rides in a row without getting out of my seat. Ride without hands, it adds a large amount of excitement to the ride. The little hills at the end let you go out with a bang. Pun intended.

Spread your wings and fly away!! X-Flight '01
It's really beautiful to look at, but it didn't move me at all. Consider this a good start-up wood coaster and that's it.

Batwing-Bow Down
RWB is one of the most underrated coasters I have ridden. I enjoyed it quite a bit!
Darren Mullins
I hate it when people suck up to Jeff, oh well. Life goes on.
RWB is an ok ride, it's nothing that you can't tolerate. it is mostly slowly paced through the whole ride, and it feels as though your gonna stop and not make it back. The layout is very neat, and if it was re-done by CCI it would be an instant winner.
The other two wooden ones, make up for what this ons lacks, awesome speed, and great airtime!
