i may be going to sfwoa and with all the bad reviews about RWB im interested about the ride.
I actually found RWB to be a good ride. I love the overbanked turns!

Raging Wolf Bobs is ok, it really just suffers in comparison to the other two wooden coasters in the park.
I liked the ride but i went last year when the Big Dipper was broken and the Villian is still in my top 5 costers

Cedar Point, doesn't get any better then that:)
When I rode RWB last year I found it to be okay. This year, however, different story! It was the most painful coaster experience I had in my life. I rode it in row 2 with my girlfriend and it screwed her back up for awhile. I recommend you stay out of the back seat of a car, especially row 2.
Its a great ride, that needs a little TLC. I loved the ruff and tumble feel, as well as the unique and surprising layout.

I wouldn't really say that it's a bad coaster, but it's definitely not one of my all time favorites.

Cedar Point! The Greatest Place on Earth!
Decent night rides, terrible day rides: nauseating.

Its really not a bad ride. I like it because its very out of control and you are whipped around ALOT on this ride. Of course, it just can't compare to The Villain and Big Dipper!

If you like no airtime, extreme roughness and spline damage then yeah, its a great ride!
Spine damage? General rule of thumb: when riding an unfamiliar woodie with PTC stock, sit in an odd numbered row (ie., not above an axl).
On July 7th I had the extreme misfortune of riding Raging Wolf Bobs. It can't even be compared to Son Of Beast, which I thought, was a rough ride. Son Of Beast has matured into a great ride. Raging Wolf Bobs should either be a) overhauled or b) TORN DOWN! Don't even get me started about the rest of the park!

Two Words, "Millennium Force"
Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure, the "dive" of amusement parks!
I think the trailered train has something to do with the roughness on RWB. With one car's motion being dependent on the wheels of the car ahead of it, much roughness can result. That's it in a nutshell, anyways. I'm sure Rideman knows the specifics as to why this type of train leads to such a rough ride, but I really don't. Thunder Run got a new non- trailered train and ever since, people have been raving about the ride, where as before they were complaining about how rough it is.

I love it how non-enthusiasts can come off a ride and say "man, that was kinda rough" while enthusiasts can come off as ride and say "jesus christ! this thing needs to be torn down because i just got my spine wrenched on that thing!!! tear it down!"

Its a different type of woodie than Villain and Big Dipper, those two are mainly airtime coasters, RWB is a great coaster with lots of good banked turns.

I'd walk through hell in a gasoline suit to keep riding roller coasters

The first time I rode it I sat in the front seat and I couldn't see what all the complaints were about - it wasn't rough, but it still wasn't a great ride.
However, the following year I sat in the back seat and it was awful - talk about bruised ribs.
Son of Beast may be rough, but at least it's exciting - RWB is a pile of last nights dinner.

I kinda liked RWB. It was not as rough as people made it out to be, and it had a lot of fun banked turns. If they must replace it, maybe they can rebuild the Idora Wildcat there.
