Mr Doom. For rides like ttd and KK you cant just add more sections. The computers will have to be reprogrammed too. To account for the new braking scheme and everything. I know KK had Computer problems probably ttd to. So why would they risk more problems and add to the rides wich have already had problems.
Atleast Cedar point and Gadv have room to build more coasters. why wouldnt they just build a new one?
Adding height? No. The size and number of support columns were designed to support the weight of the ride above it. Adding more height would compromise the design specifications of the original supports. Adding length? YES! Just look at Powder Keg at SDC. Granted they changed the trains and computer systems and all, it's essentially just a modified version of Buzz Saw Falls. Also consider Hypersonic at PKD. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure much of the ride is the original prototype that they built ar the S&S production facility, except they rebuilt the part after the main tower to fit the space at PKD. It can be done, you just need to have a good enough reason to do it.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
They are going to put a building over TTD and theme it as a disastrous trip to Zimbabwe. Does that count?
I'd add a one mega ton nuke to each of them, clear the areas and push the button.

^ good idea, except the falling pieces of KK would ruin rolling thunder, a great loss for the world, which would be in mourning for years to come. And, careful with TTD, it coming down might ruin the only Intamin coaster that's been working more than it's been down, Millennium Force.
