I rode it about 7 times today and I LOVED IT. I rode in the front row, 2nd row twice, 3rd row, somewhere in the middle, 2nd to last row, and last row. I love rides that are intense and this thing does not give up until it hits the breaks, even after the trim.
The lift hill is WAY fast. It takes I'd say around 10 seconds to get to the top of the lift.
The first drop has insane amounts of airtime in the back. Every seat I rode in I greyed out in the first turn. I will be really surprised if they don't trim the first drop, slow down the lift, or something, soon. The airtime hills are amazing; in every seat I rode in there was intense airtime.
The turns and twists are REALLY fun, and the ride is SO fast and intense that the trim brake is more of a relief than an annoyance. I only got my head banged on the last 2 twists, and it really wasn't that bad.
Overall, it was an amazing ride that they are sure to neuter soon, so ride while you can!

So do the women who work at Charm City. ;)
I'll give you that. Biggest reason to watch the show. :)
I'd bet they're even cuter in person.
Cool videos. It's cool that CB got a shout out.
I haven't been back to KD in 18 years. This will finally get me to go.
Oh-I almost forgot to mention... She said "The Intimidator" and "The Dominator". Haha.
And I am not a race fan in any way, shape, or form, but I found it touching to hear Dale's kids speak about their father.

I was concerned about the neck-jabbing, but from the reviews I'm now more worried about the extreme positive G's. Is that first turn as bad as the helices on Goliath/Titan? I love intensity, but man those helices are too much for me. If this is somehow worse (is that legal? lol), I know I'm not going to be able to enjoy this.

Ha! Great videos! I am dying to get to King's Dominion and Carowinds especially after being bombarded with videos and pics of both Intimidators. ;)
Agreed, AV...I'm a little worried about the first turn. I loved the intensity of Titan's helix, but at the same time didn't really enjoy feeling like I was going to pass out. I'm glad I'll get to ride it tomorrow, because I fear what niiicolaaah mentioned--that they will eventually trim the speed off the first drop.
Dear Holly Morris,
305 is pronounced "three zero five."
Not "three oh five."
Since when did zero become the letter O?
Seriously? I always pronounce it 'three oh five'. That's about as nitpicky as the folks who get irritated when someone puts 'The' in front of a coaster name...
OK. Nitpick this one... Why is it "coasterbuzz dot com", while software versions are "two point one"? Dot vs. point?

I hope this isn't a dumb question to ask, but How long does it take them to add a trim brake to a ride like this. I'm just hoping that if i do make it out there this August it will still be trimmless.

Come on, give it a rest about the trimming. Ten years now and it gets old. There's a trim on it right now and it doesn't detract from the ride.
I won't lie, that first turn is pretty intense. Ken suggested I do the pilot "squeeze" to fight the blood pooling. Fighter pilots apparently squeeze and tense up the muscles in their legs and butt to keep it from pooling, and sure enough, that works pretty well. Otherwise, my vision just got more and more tunneled until I got up to the negative G's on the second hill.
I personally don't see this as a ride that you could marathon. Four laps was pretty solid for me. Well, that, and I had a plane to catch.

From looking at it, that first turn doesnt look like it would but you under that many Gs and actually looks like one of the coolest parts of this roller coaster hence the fact that its supposed to be like a racecar track... there is nothing, I repeat nothing that i hate more than a trimmed drop, (beasts second major drop after the chain lift is a great example) and that would be the dumbest idea ever to put it on there so i recomend that we dont complain about it or else the company may see that people dont enjoy its intensity... and that would ruin what looks like one beast of a ride with excellent looking theming

ORLY?
Because I was at media day yesterday, and all the park officials, and Earnhardt's 2 kids who were there.... said "three oh five".... :D
Cedar Point never trimmed MF and most people gray out on that ride too.
The trains look cool. I like the Nascar theme on the front. Looks awesome.
Sadness. I am not a fan of graying out at all. One of the biggest reasons I can't ride Titan or Shockwave more than once a trip.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I started to gray out once on MF. That was back in 2001 though. I hate sounding like an ungrateful person who complains about rides( sigh), but one of the problems with a trim is that not only does it slow down the one part of the ride that needs to be slowed down, but it also slows down the rest of the ride. It's not like you hit the trim slow down for that one intense part, and then magically your back at the speed that you would have been going at without the trim. For this reason the earlier the trim comes the worse.
Sounds like a great ride though! From what i'm hearing, it may actually challenge MF as my number one when i finally get the opportunity.

As a big fan of Titan/Goliath - this sounds promising to me...I understand others may feel diferently though.
Rode it about an hour ago--solid ride. My worries were unfounded; the first turn was really intense, but I didn't come close to greying out. Fantastic air on hill #2.
