Its a pneumatic airlock. The same system as their older family rides. Lightning Bolt at MGM uses a version this system and it was built BEFORE S:TE. The only difference is that the lap bars on it DO click but open via a compressor located at the very back of the train. For the compressor to activate the train must be lined up with sensors located both on the train and beneath the station platform.
