Intamin Impulses

Impulses are very fun and pretty darn loud. I've never waited over 30 mins for one (and those waits were for the front seat) and I personally don't think any ride beyond the first would be worth more than 45 mins to me at least.

The initial launch puts you about 1/2 way up the twisted spike as the front couple of seats get just a hint of twist, you then go almost all the way up the back spike, all the way up the twist, all the way up the back again (and get braked on some of them) then go most of the way up the twist before stopping.

Overall I think the rides are Class A fun and much better than the other shuttles available, I'd actually really like to see someone install a huge (like 400 feet plus) straight spiked one (ala Linear Gale on a massive scale) just for the insane float time you'd get...
