Informal Poll - Name of Hershey's Rocket

Just interested in what folks around here think about the three names for Hershey's 2004 Intamin Rocket.

I like Renegade, as I feel Steel Stampede is too "hokey" sounding, and Storm Rider is too close to Knott's GhostRider.

Which one do you like, and why?

*Edit: Actual third name proposed is Storm Runner, not Storm Rider. I still like Renegade the best.*

I voted for Renegade as well. For some reason, it just sticks out among the others as a cooler name. Steel Stampede is ok, but Storm Rider is too cartoonish almost.

Everyone vote for Renegade :). I already got the ok from my mom to plan a trip to Hershey next year.

I voted Storm Rider. I think the whole western theme is hokey as it is and Steel Stampede just sounds dumb. Renegade is ok I guess, but I voted Storm Rider... maybe I'll add one for Renegade too. Anyone watch the movie yet? What is a cobra loop? Just a cobra roll? And a flying snake dive? I can't watch it at work and its killing me to know ...

I always thought Renegade would be a great name for a Wooden Coaster, but I voted for it anyways. Enough with the "Steel" names! We just got back from Hershey this past Sunday and had a great time! Guess I'm going back again next year!

The flying snake dive begins with a barrel roll a la Collosus at Thorpe park, then goes right into another 1/2 barrel roll and dives out from it, sort of like a 1/2 corkscrew.

I guess it's kinda like the dive loop on Manhattan Express, only preceeded by a full roll, and exits with a corkscrew instead of a veritcal loop. It looks INSANE!

anyway, I voted for Renegade. Steel Stampede and Storm Rider were cheesy.

Of those three, Renegade is the best sounding but it doesn't fit the launched theme. I would have preferred the more simpler Stampede or, better yet, Gold Rusher...it fits the western theme and the launched theme.

I'll try and describe the animation as best I can (using some RCT terms)....

Launch - pull up vertical - 90 degree twist left - top hat to vertical down - pull up - large half loop with twist out at top (aka Immelman) - dive down - pull up - one full inline twist - half inline twist with dive down (hard to describe) - sweeping pull up right - bank left (looks like good laterals) - descending brake run.

Hopefully that helps more than it confuses....

I'm a big fan of one-word names (and 'Steel' is too cliché), so Renegade sounds best to me.

i picked Renegade. this sucks, it wont let me watch the ride video, and i updated Quicktime but it still wont work. What Should I do?

I honestly don't care for any of the names given, but I did select Renegade. None of them really caught my attention and I surely wasn't going to select any names beginning with Steel and Storm.

Steel Stampede, none of the others seem to fit the theme there.
