Info on Busch Gardens CA?

Does anyone have any information about a Busch Gardens park in California? I seem to remember an ad for the park when I was very young. Did they have a park there at one point, or was I dreaming? If yes is the answer, then did the park have any coasters or rides?

Im pretty sure it was a nice dream.

Probably not much. The park was surrounded by major streets and the brewery, neither of which were about to move. The park was cute, with nice vegetation (no surprise there) and a decent log ride. No coasters whatsoever. It basically consisted of the log ride, a fun house, bumper cars, and a monorail that went through the brewery and which was actually really cool.

I really wish Busch had invested their So. Cal. park money on a large acreage site in Ventura County or the San Gabriel valley.

really reminds me of Silver Springs...minus, of course, the springs...

BTW, BaSSiStiSt....the "other" Mike Miller sure did get Gainesville "fired up" about hoops, and it's really nice to no longer live in a one-sport town...Gators WILL get that National title, sooner or later.....

Wow, I never knew that place existed. The skyrail brewery tour looks like one of the coolest ideas I've ever seen.

Why not a Busch Gardens Columbus? Busch owns everything around their brewery there, including the soccer fields, the corporate offices, and the Malibu Grand Prix (out of business). Those who know the Columbus area will know what I'm talking about...sure, there isn't much space, but there's enough for an Apollo clone 5 minutes from my house :)

They bought the Malibu property? Man I miss that place. That was one of the few "real" go-kart tracks around.

You should check out Speeds in Columbus, Jeff...in a terrible part of town, but great go-kart racing.

OK million dollar question time. Do any of their old rides still exist at other parks especially the log flume?

I was 10 or so when I went. The skyride was a fun experience - certainly wasn't a beer drinker back then, but the rows of giant vats were impressive and you got to see them from above. This would have been around 1967 or '68, before the rides, and the only things there besides the garden were the aviary and a hut where they gave free samples of beer. Guess the lawsuit industry wasn't what it is now, back then.
Wow! That's cool. I never really thought I would see a park map of this place. Thanks!
