If Six Flags Still had WOA, would it be the flagship park?

Customer Service, the rudest ride ops i have ever encountered were at cedar point last year. There are a few people on Milly that think they are the sh*t cause they are working that ride, and on wicked twister, it wasn't very crowded at all, and i wanted to ride in the front or back and there was nobody waiting, and they made me ride in the middle. Also at geuaga lake last year, i was like the only person in the park, and everytime i finished a ride, i had to walk all the way around to get back on.
I'm curious to why you thought a particular ride host or a few of them are big headed about working MF. I've seen ride hosts anywhere have bad days and I'm sure there is more pressure on MF hosts because of poor performance caused by the seatbelt restrictions. I thought they were generally courtous last summer.

Maybe a couple bad seeds that got "taken care of?"

Also on TTD last year, there was one girl that was not consistent with the loose objects rule. I had on a pack strapped to my belt that housed my camera, she checked in on 2 ocaisons before i went under the tunnel to get in line, then i go another time to get in line, and she tells me i need a locker? They need to be more consistent.

Criminy. Beast Tamer, you need to relax, my friend. You had to walk all the around to re-board the ride? You got away with breaking the rules twice and that's Cedar Point's fault?

Sounds to me like there's a problem, yes, but the problem doesn't work for Cedar Fair...

That is a problem at any ride. They would rather have the not-so-good employees at entrance and other low risk positions than on the platform. It sounds like to me that they got yelled at between your second and thrid ride. They may have been on another crew without any loose article policy. That is usually near the begining and later in the season.

Leave it to Cedar Point to have the craziest policies. From what I heard, there will be more consistancy with roller coaster and no loose articles this summer.

Good lord, some people need to get a clue! I'm laughing my butt off reading some of the "arguments" in this thread!

Let's see...it's March 25th. And this is the third Six Flags vs. Cedar Fair tiff of the year (That's one per month, if you're keeping score at home). The question of the topic is "Would it be a flagship park?" Thus, Six Flags answered that question by selling the park to their #1 competitor in complete and staggering fashion (not to mention a cheap price). I'll give SF a bone for the attempt and 4 fantastic coasters.

I like the fact that you are utterly persistent in hammering away new topics on the board and you've received extra credit for answering your own questions, but problems exist at ALL parks....hell, Disney had a fatal accident with a coaster slamming into the station and Mickey Mouse and Goofy fondling people on Main Street. I, myself, had two crappy experiences at the Point last year that left a sour taste in my mouth (MF and TTD). But, I have yet to pinpoint and slam SF directly, instead I have used facts, not personal experiences.

If you have a personal score to settle with CF, get on with it...write letters, picket outside the fence, spit/ urinate on the midway...I don't care, but get over yourself in the process. The problems are bigger than us. Whenever SF puts more than one train on their tracks during the week (See: Capacity), the more time I'll spend inside their castle walls. In the meantime, Mr. Six, find another topic to discuss besides the age ol' battle between good and evil.

I've got my light saber, where's yours?

PS: Use the search option on your window. You'll find tons of SF vs. CF arguments that will tickle you to your heart's content.

Beast Tamer-there was a NO re-ride policy. Im glad to see that the employees enforced that rule which shows that they (we) did our job. Just get up and walk back around.

But...But...But...Cedar Fair has too their first year at Geauga, Gonch, don't you read the message boards?

If SFWoA still existed, and SFI goes thru with an improvement in Customer Service @ SFGAdv, SFMM, and obvously SFWoA, it could have been a top tier park. Eventually.

Can't forget SFA. It has the worst costumer service of all-that is trying to improve (and it's not working). I am so pissed at SF because they are the biggest chain yet they don't know what to do. Either get new board members, etc. or sell some parks and work back up. They'll have more money to work with fewer parks.

Oh and please sell them to CF! Or Paramounts. I have PKD near me but a CF park (instead of SFA :-( )

would be awesome.

Look at paramount they rarely put new rides in, no paramount park even has a steel hyper. Their customer service must be the bomb then. *** Edited 3/24/2005 7:12:04 AM UTC by Beast Tamer***

Errrr... Paramount puts new rides every year at PKI and PKD at least. They sometimes put in multiple rides. Hyper statement is true.

Why is there a no re-ride policy? At paramount parks they will let you have fun if the park is empty. I swear, i was the only person to rise dominator for 3 hours that morning. And they had 4 people checking restraints, lol.

I admit at times (ok ALOT) the reride policy was annoying. But when you get off the ride and go through the turnstile you get an accorate count (though kids spinning the turnstile ruins it all) and maybe its also a safety issue? I dunno. I didnt make the rule i just enforced it

You gave dominator a rise? And for 3 hours?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
