S&S Power said they are installing six more of the "Absolutely Insane" rides in the coming year. The first three were installed at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm and Cedar Point.
CoasterBuzz will post an exclusive interview with S&S chief Stan Checketts later this week.
But I wonder how rough they will become over time?

Notice that this year, they had the FunTime model...these were used as trial runs to see how the public reacted to the type of ride. Next year, they will be gone and an S&S model will be in their place.

(Doesn't Elitch Gardens already have a Drop Tower?)
One thing I wan't to add, just like hypers in the 20th Century, Air Thrust 2000's are one of the most extreme things we've seen, it just seems like a TA2K is too extreme for a park collection that hasn't had a ground breaking attraction, it's like taking Conneaut Lake and adding a giga coaster, but what better the time to start then now! What I'm saying is does it seem wrong or odd to take an extreme ride to a small park with a VERY small coaster collection?
I guess it's not always bad, it worked for Six Flags New England and Kennywood, but it seems better to open up with a good woodie from CCI or a small looper from Venkoma(like KBF, Holiday World, Lake Compounce, and Michigan Adventure)

Didn't Cedar Point already have two drop rides (including one with four towers) before they installed their S&S?
