Wow.
This page is for coaster enthusiasts to tell stores about stupid general public in the parks!
Where's the page for the 'GP' to tell stories about stupid enthusiasts? I'm sure there are far more of those...
LOL.
Oh, enthusiasts... I've always thought that movie "Fever Pitch" could be remade with a coaster enthusiast instead of a Red Sox fan, and you wouldn't have to change the plot much.
Man.. They have a FB page for everything..

Not to mention, most baseball fans don't have Facebook pages devoted to how much the "GP SUCKS".
First of all that page is hysterical!
Second of all, don't be so sure about hardcore baseball fans or sports fans in general. They are just as nuts.
Yeah, they are - I won't argue that, but I just don't see it as being similar. Don't ask me why, cause I can't justify it. I just can't make that connection.
Wow. Didn't know about that GP Sucks page. Enthusidiots at their finest there...
I rode Silver Comet at Fantasy Island 117 times in one day... "SEND IT THROUGH!!" That was the only time I really marathoned something to the extreme. That was an AWESOME day, I'm not going to lie.
Now-a-days I tend to enjoy the entire park and ride everything at a casual pace, but as a kid I used to re-ride over and over and over and over. I did Mind Eraser at Darien Lake 27 times, and regretted that one... ended up being the first time I've hurled with a coaster as the cause...
Well I did ride Montu 23 times in a row--but that was 10 years ago!
My record is 55 on Millennium Force during Millennium Mania in 2001.

Oh, the bump prompted me to go look at the GP Sucks group again. I saw some of the "member" pictures.
It's hard to justify making fun of "regular" people, when your fashion sense consists of nothing by coaster shirts. :) Just sayin'.
At the sweet young age of 16, I rode Screechin' Eagle at Americana 64 times in one visit. My thighs were purple for a week.
It was still fun though. Not sure I could take the blood being sucked outta my head and getting bruised shoulders though - ouch.
Coasting for kids is my one day record, and I'm not sure I ever want to try and break it. But you never know.
129 laps on Gemini
884 Coasters, 34 States, 7 Countries

Yea 88 on Gemini was my record day, but I think the 37 on Voyage this past Sunday was harder on my body.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
My record was 90 (77 consecutive without leaving the station) on El Toro Easter Sunday last month. Unless something weird happens, I expect that to stand until I leave this mortal coil.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I like this guy riding I305 because he doesn't seem interested in the attention. He just loves the ride that much. I can relate to that. When Magnum opened, I rode it 526 times that season. I went into park about every day after getting off work and rode. I never had any media approach me the entire season. I just love to ride it over and over!
Through the years, I have power ridden quite a few coasters. Some with friends. Some by myself. Some of my best 1-day numbers:
116 - Cheetah
93 - Chang
83 - Kumba
82 - Magnum
43 - Mantis
I have no idea what I was thinking when marathoning B&M stand-ups!!
Jerry - Magnum Fanatic
Famous Dave's- 206 restaurants - 35 states - 2 countries
One thing's for sure: these guys are getting their money's worth! Hi James and Danny, looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
Wish I had the intestinal fortitude to ride I305 more than 5 times a day! You'll find me parked on Grizzly or Rebel Yell.
For those about to drop...we salute you!
^Me too, I was mostly thankful the ERT session ended early...
Have to wonder how great the ride would be with lappies....and if the designers considered the fact they'd be using OTSRs when incorporating all of those uber-fast transitions. Rebel Yell, and esp. Grizzly were kicking all kinds of booty - but "Dale" kicked me in the side of the neck a little (a lot?) more than I'd prefer.
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
