So let's get to the point here. Coaster is set for demolition if the park moves after next season. This is what I have read everywhere.

What I want to know is if anyone is trying for a presevation or relocation of the ride? Playland already said it wasn't moving it to the new location but rather building a new coaster instead.

Chuck, who is pretty sure this is what he read on AB-Ace News and other forums.

Chuck, as you know the park is set for the next 12 months. After that, it is still quite up in the air. That said, Ronald Anderson has been receiving news from the people at the PNE. Perhaps you can write him for tidbits? ....and I am dead serious when I say that if all goes well with Ethyl, I will be buying up said Coaster, I kid you not.

Yes, nasai's dead serious about it, folks. I've seen the look in his eyes when he talks about buyig Coaster, it's no joke!

Right now, the folks at the PNE aren't quite sure what they are going to do as far as moving the park and Coaster. They have not been able to find a suitable location to move to.

Back in April ,when Nasai and I went to the PNE,I noticed a number of improvements to Coaster. A new entrance sign has been installed, an on ride photo booth has been installed.and there was lots of new wood throughout the ride.Prior to boarding the Coaster,I asked the ride op what the status of Coaster was. He told me that the PNE was going to move Coaster with them. But then, information from a ride op is not the most reliable.I did get a sense that Coaster may be saved.

After one of several rides on Coaster, I did buy an on ride photo of myself.I have since misplaced it. Rob,we are going to have to go back to the PNE so I can get another one. Oh, Darn!:)

I can fix anything.....where is the duct tape?

Sounds just terrible, Ron!;) I agree. There are a number of improvements that have happened in the past year that screams "taking it with us." Still, I don't put that much stock into an ops opinion until I hear the real skinny from Playland.
