My 100th coaster was Volcano: The Blast Coaster at PKD in March 2001. My 50th coaster was Lighting Racer at Hershey in May 2000. Right now I am up to 130 and will most definately be hitting #200 sometime this summer during the ACE European trip, in which I will be attending both weeks. There's around 70 or so that I will be going on, which should make it up to 200.
I was actually thinking it over and I thought, why not try to attempt 100 different, never before ridden coasters in one year. Has anyone actually pulled that off? I'm very limited because I've hit all but a few around my area but after looking, I think I may be able to do it.
Hitting 100+ next week wutg SFMM, KBF, and DCA.
Most likely 100th will be GhostRider.

Americana is opening in 2002 and needs your support as many company picnics are already schedualed for someplace else, Indivdual visits are very improtant to the parks survival.
I broke 50 last summer. Not bad for someone who only had 18 under his belt by Summer 1999. I'll break 100 this summer, got some big trips planned. (Should be right around 125 by the end of this season)
I think I can beat everyone for worst "milestone" coaster. My #50 was Gold Rush at Wild Adventures. Like most of you it was an accident.

At the end of the 1998 season, I had 101 new to me coasters ridden during that season. I know others that have had more. If I make it to #500 this year, I could end up with something like 112 for the year, but I am not totally sure yet.

magnum count :2166
LG, I think it's safe to say that HSTC at Knoebels IS a better coaster than Gold Rush, but WA definitely is a great place to up the count....and they have a cool Wild Mouse (Maurer-Sohne), a SMOOTH Vekoma SLC, and a pretty good Boomerang (certainly the only one I've been on that is NAMED Boomerang AND fits the theming...) But when they added Cheetah, WA came up on the "coaster map". I remember when they had a dirt parking lot and you drove within 10' of the ticket booth...of course the park has GROWN since then!
Dan, I remember just a couple years back when Jill and I were afraid of maggie...our first true hyper...
Will, I promise Ghostrider will be one of your fav woodies....ENJOY!
